If you have a good book, want to chill a  basic but idyllic location, this is the place for you. 
There are no luxuries, but the rooms are comfortable, shower ok, Koi in the basic kitchen produces lovely meals and is happy to share her recipes.
Yes, the beach does have some rubbish in the early morning but that is soon cleared up. Yes, the sunset cruises come to the bay between 4&6pm, but they go!
All in all a great value for money place to chill!

Wild Pasir Panjang is a MUST VISIT location for nature lovers. It is a tropical paradise far away from any hustle and bustle of a populated area. The housing area is located on an isolated beach with only a few guests visiting and staff. A short little trail could take guests to the public beach with a store and a couple of other attractions. The house where we stayed is right on the water and has amazing views. It is peaceful, very clean, and beautiful. It has a large living area facing the beach and a private bedroom at the back of the house. Two additions to the house include a kitchen and the bathroom/shower area along with the separate entrance hall. The house has a lot of light due to floor to ceiling windows. If you love nature, this is a place for you. It is designed to be enjoyed without any luxury of typical hotels but with simplicity and beauty. The area doesn’t offer a lot of other activities; however, by design these houses were built to allow family and guests to enjoy living on a beach 24 hours and sample great food offered at the location. The food is an additional charge but is tailored towards individual needs, dietary restrictions and preferences. In addition, the family and staff that run this place are amazingly warm and caring and it feels like being part of a family. No internet is offered at the place but if the phone has a data card, it could be used for phones, emails, internet, yet it needs to be taken care of in advance. Trips from this secluded place could be arranged for a fee to visit the rest of the Langkawi island. We loved it and plan to be back.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 3 year old son. It’s a little piece of paradise. 

The people are so welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing, and Koi the chef was lovely. 

Our accommodation was right on the beach, so we woke to the sound of the waves. 

Would definitely recommend this place. And will go back again!

My new home, my love. You know when you find that place that just feels right, like "I'm where I need to be?" WPP is THAT place for me. I had never stayed on an island in the jungle before I visited this beautiful spot and wasn't sure what to expect. My first visit was booked 4 days, that easily turned into 7. I left, crying mind you, but quickly (within 2 weeks) returned. Left sobbing, again, then came back, again. I think total I was here about a month and a half, maybe more. I'm blessed that I currently have the free time to lose time.
Koi, omg, the best! She is my sister now. I am auntie to her beautiful son Awang, a juvenile long tail macaque monkey, who you will surely want to meet and play with. He is naughty tho, so hold onto your sunglasses and hat! She cooks, cleans and entertains. She is the humerus and backbone of the island *hehehe*
Gashri, the owner of the island, is not only a great guy, but very kind and HA-larious. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
I can't leave out the many gardeners and workers who maintain the grounds. They work hard in the crazy heat to keep things looking good and running.
Things to note- I never had an issue with mosquitoes, it was windy pretty much every day I was there, so thank you wind! I love lizards, so the occasional 1 or 4 that visit you in your room made me smile. There will be ants, it is the jungle after all. This didn't bother me, but don't leave ANY food in your bungalow, they will help themselves. Lucky!! If you are lucky he will visit you. He is koi's floof ball cat. 
Saving the best for last, Billy. Man's best friend, he will most likely walk you to your  bungalow after every meal if he is around.
To end, but not the end, come here if you love animals, nature, like minds and good times!

Do not miss this place if you are looking for a quiet, natural, secluded beach. We stayed here looking for a secluded beach and Wild Pasir was perfect. We stayed for 2 nights and the second night we had the beach all to ourselves during a full moon. Amazing!! I also had a religious experience with Koi's seafood curry! 

Practical info- The locals call it Pasir Panjang. We took a boat collective but probably would have hired a private boat in retrospect because it took about 4 hours to get enough people. If you want to save money it is easier to do a collective on the way back to Langkawi. We rented a bike, don't, you don't need it. Staying right there on the beach was all that we needed. They have reasonable priced food and beers from the fridge based on the honor system. We loved it there!

It’s a true paradise, basic but absolutely beautiful and right in touch with nature. The beach is only shared with exotic animals and two wonderful dogs. Koi is the best chef en hostess you will experience in Malaysia. Go!

Went to this beautiful island as part of the island hopping with Eva Cruise Trip. Loved the quietness and serenity of this place, though the water was a bit murky due to the weather I guess, still it was so good to see a place with so few people.

Its a secluded island where few people live so you can be very sure about the privacy. There are few bungalows available on the beach (with cooks and helpers) for the visitors who need some quiet time away from the crowd. 

I will definitely gonna stay there for long on my next trip.

I stayed for 2 nights at the red bungalow and it was absolutely magical. I watched the most beautiful sunrises and tasted the most delicious mangos ever. This is a place to relax and be in real touch with nature. The water is a bit murky, but not because it's dirty, probably because of the minerals in the soil. Gashri, the owner, is a very special 72 year old man with amazing stories, and Koi's food is absolutely delicious. They will leave you alone if you want privacy, but will welcome you if you want company. This place will be in my heart for a long time. Thank you! 

We stayed at Wild Pasir Panjang for four nights and had a very relaxing stay. The beach is beautiful and it really feels like a remote slice of paradise. The accommodation and facilities are good but quite basic, don’t expect a 5 star resort. Food and drinks are available, the chef Koi is amazing and so sweet! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always very tasty! 
We stayed in a chalet that was quite spacious and private. Everything you need is there but the bed is not that great and the towels are old and not so fresh. Unfortunately two new chalets were being built next to ours and that caused a bit of noise disturbance. We asked if they could do something about it and they tried to accommodate but given the fact that we came there for peace and quiet it was a bit disappointing to have to deal with that. 
All in all a stunning place, very nice stay and good to get back to the basics in life and enjoy quality beach time.

From reading reviews I expected the property to be rustic and basic with a beautiful beach and friendly hosts.

The cook was lovely but otherwise I was so disappointed I checked out after 1 night of my 4-night booking.

The bungalow had no amenities and showed a lack of care. Tatty curtains, threadbare towels, a dirty mosquito net, a bare light bulb and nowhere to put your things. 

The bathroom plumbing went into an open septic tank straight outside the room, next to a filthy creek that flowed to the beach.

In the afternoon 4 party boats anchored offshore with competing loud music. I was told this happens daily.

In the morning the prevailing NE wind had washed up loads of plastic and 8 dirty nappies outside my room. Between this and the unsanitary plumbing the beach is not healthy for swimming. 

The owner arranged my transfer from the airport via car and boat, which cost me 150 RMB compared to the local rate of 92 RMB using Grab.

Luckily I was able to find a very nice alternative hotel with beautiful rooms and a swimming pool on a beach facing southwest away from the wind and rubbish, at a lower price.
