Stayed at Iwatake Landmark Lodge for eight nights with two friends during January/ February 2017. The lodge offers great value for money and the service level is beyond what we expected with breakfast daily that was able to tweak slightly according to requests. The personnel assisted with booking taxis and giving recommendations for local, authentic Japanese, restaurants and onsens. The one shortcoming would be that Iwatake is not the most challenging of the Hakuba resorts so you need to take a bus or taxi every day to get to Cortina, Tsugaike Kogen, Happo One or Hakuba. Happy to recommend to anyone travelling to Hakuba to ski and who wants proximity to most areas since it's located quite central. Make sure you take out more cash than you might think you need as there are limited ATM opportunities in Hakuba.
