We stayed here for one night to wait on an early flight to Okinawa. The hotel is accessible with a taxi from the airport. 

- Location: conveniently close to the airport (it is more an aiport hotel).

- Service: the staff was friendly, but there was not a lot of staff on some floors. We had some Ramen in one of the restaurants, but my boyfriend had some stomach issues afterward ( still don't know what happened exactly).

- Room: the room was a good basic Japanese style room.
 
Overall a convenient hotel to quickly stay a night to go on travelling. It does look somewhat old and empty at times.

Convenient hotel when you need to travel through Okayama airport

This is very close to airport and the only reason we stayed there. 

It’s very old and run down and feels like an old people home. It’s a shoes off hotel!

The worst is, there is no shower in the rooms?? There’s a toilet but you are meant to shower/bath in the onsen. 

The rooms are clean but old and run down. The whole place stinks of smoke (luckily not the room surprisingly) and no one speaks English. There are also no signs in English, just a little flyer with basic info about breakfast and onsen.

Would we recommend? Probably not, only when you have a very early flight out as we did ..


Only hotel at airport 

This is the closest hotel to Okayama Airport, but it's not remotely what an airport hotel should be. #1: no bath or shower in the rooms. #2 It has the rules of a Japanese spa (take shoes off in the lobby) without any of the charm. The lobby looks like any suburban hotel anywhere in the developed world. The rooms are small and spartan (though they do, thankfully, have wi-fi). And the spa itself? According to my Japanese colleague, who checked it out, it's kind of fake and cheesy, with none of the calming features of the traditional onsen. Bottom line: I would not come back, even if it took me a half hour longer to get to the airport.
