Hotel is bit old but the room was very clean. The room was comfortable. The location is excellent, only 5 minutes walk to the old town. The price was absolutely excellent, so it's a really great ratio price/quality. They provide a Car Park at 5 minutes walk for 1000 yen. The staff was very nice.

While the decor is a bit old fashioned, the room was a good size. Everything was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and it was easy to check in and out. As we were only there for one night (to see the canal and historic quarter) that was all we needed - the location was very handy! It’s just a short walk to the main sites. It wasn’t an expensive hotel so I didn’t really expect much more than that. It’s a convenient base to explore Kurashiki from and very easy/quick to get to from the train station. 

This hotel is convenient when staying in Kurashiki. Very close to the old town neighborhood with its canals and beautiful old houses and stores. Even so just a 10 minutes walk from the central station and restaurant area.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast was very nice. The couch in the room looked a little old and dirty, but apart from that the room was clean. Wifi and air-conditioning worked perfectly. The old town is around the corner, and restaurants and convenience stores are close by. The train station is at walking distance.

 Breakfast is poor.
 our room had huge step to the shower. Bit risky.
Beds ore old and bit too soft.

Good location in an out dated hotel

We stayed here for one night. Check in was easily done. The hotel is ok, but needs some refurbishment,  especially the bathroom. The furniture have also seen their best time. The place is very convenient to go to the old village, historic District.

Good Location, in need  of refurbishment

This hotel is well located in Kurashiki.  It's Western-style and close to the old town (which is a MUST to visit).  The hotel has the basic amenities and our breakfast was included.  The staff barely speaks English, still they were very friendly.

Good location in Kurashiki

I booked 2 days in this hotel. The room was filthy dirty. Carpet disgusting. Walls had stains that looked like dried  blood.  ( see pictures ) Furniture worn & smelly. I immediately went down to front desk & said I would pay for one night , but I had to leave. I would be a bad husband if I had my wife stay at this hotel.  Worst hotel in all my experiences Japan. Sad. But The location is excellent. Staff were average.
