Stayed in this onsen for 2 nights It is in the centre of Kochi. A tall building with commanding view over the city, including the castle (with a direct white light outside the onsen area with a switch inside the building that shines on the castle if we press on it!) We stayed in a traditional styled room on the floor directly below the onsen. It was beautiful, cosy, and warm. We slept well on the tatami that laid out for us. The breakfast was included in the our price, with a decent choice or both western and Japanese choices. We were full enough not to really require lunch afterwards. The onsen experience was awesome too. There were three pools: one indoor / warm, one indoor / cold, and one outdoor / warm. All were worth trying (although the cold isn’t for the faint hearted!) And as always, the staff were impeccably polite, courteous, and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to recommend this wonderful place to anyone.
