This is a nice little town of mostly elderly people. I have been coming here since 1971 when I was born a few towns over in Yokosuka Chuo. It has a McDonalds, a Pompadour, 7.11, Yokosan, Lawson, 100 yen shop, a Tonkatsu Shop and other places as well. You can walk to the Baystars practice stadium as well and. you can see Hakkeijima from the ocean area. Hakkeijima is accessible from Kanazawa Hakkei seaside line off the Keikyu line just one stop from Oppama Station.
