Sankichi

This is such a quaint place! A traditional ryokan, this place is extremely well-maintained. It has the ambience of antiquity, yet all necessary decors and comfort is upkept to reflect the present day. The rooms, although all tatamis, are incredibly clean, spacious, and apparently renovated. The dining area has a Japanese pit in the middle where they grill the fish slowly to perfection. Both lunch and dinner are attractively presented and delicious as well. The ryokan is situated in the country, but the walk outside seemed to be pleasant. As it was raining during our stay, I can only comment on their surrounding area and view based on my views from our car. We paid just under 40000 yen for our family of four, but I think it's worth every penny. Definitely recommended!
