Vessel Inn Hakata Nakasu

I was wary of the reviews on google about this hotel, but I had a strict budget so this was the best choice out of the options I was given as a package with the airline. After check-in, I was not impressed with the building due to its lack of A/C usage. The place was uncomfortably humid throughout and humidity was about 80% in the hallway of my floor and my room. Running the A/C and bathroom fan at full blast did not do the trick, and I could not take it by the 3rd day so asked for a room change or a dehumidifier. The room comes equipped with a humidifier, but they said they don’t have any dehumidifiers. I had no idea how the other guests were dealing with this. The hotel was fully booked, so the only option was for them to somehow dry out my room. And they did. They delivered a brand new dehumidifier within an hour. I am guessing they went out and bought one, on one of the hottest days in the region. By the next day, the room was down at 60% humidity. The person who delivered the dehumidifier followed up the next day and asked me if things were better. I am extremely appreciative of their determination to make sure the guests are comfortable. The hotel room is very small, but this is what I get for the price I pay. Still, it's very clean and the bed had a really good mattress. With the unexpected lovely service, I would recommend this place with anyone on a budget.
