Wonderful cottage houses with  kitchen, sofa, fan, and porch. Owners are great people. Ms. Joyce and Jah B are honest and ensure all travelers are safe. Food takes time to prepare so order in advance. An easy 2 min walk across Norman Manley blvd and you are on 7 mile beach. The linens are always clean, the maids will clean room, change sheets and do laundry for a little tip. Jah B rents scooters to motorcycles. Bring mosquito net for bed. a safe is available to store valuables. This is best Jamaican REAL experience for a budget traveler.

A bohemian oasis in middle of 7 mile beach walking distance to all attractions.

Stayed at JAH B's for one night so we could go out to the jungle nightclub down the strip, which is walking distance. Was such a cute cabin with 2 beds, bathroom with shower and small kitchen. Loved it and would absolutely stay here again 

One night off the resort

Great location. Close to all the fun parties and across the street from a great stretch of the beach. Just be sure to contact the hotel prior to check in. Seems there's a communication disconnect between them and Expedia.

First time staying at Beach Road Cottages at Jah Bs. My overall experience was very pleasant thanks to the professional and courteous staff - especially Ms. Joyce and the Chef (didn't know his name). I was not overly pleased with this lovely property (it has a lot of potential), but I would return just so I can be serviced by Ms, Joyce and the Chef.

This place is very cozy- atleast the room we were in. It's budget friendly and directly across from 7 mile beach which was a gorgeous beach. Hoping to stay there again on our next visit. It's definitely not a 5 star kind of place but the owner and everyone working here was very friendly and you came and go as u please and no one hassled you.

I like the location customer service very poor great access location no television rates too high no internet nothing but a room with bee. I like the house it was clean

This property misrepresented its location...its a dump.. we realized immediatly after coising this property that they misrepresented thier location. Tried to reverse the charge IMMEDIATELY after booking and they would not. Do not book this place it is a dump and scary looking when  see it up close

Looks like this place bought the web link to the, now closed, Sunquest Cottages. We attempted to book at Sunquest, we didn't know it was closed. Once we paid and received confirmation it was for Jah B's. Five miles from our requested reservation and in a bad area of town.... Read other reviews online. Worst part, they would not refund our $$$, seriously! We are still disputing with the credit card company.

Do NOT stay here

No hot water at all. You had to fight to get bathroom paper and a cup of ice. A lot of mosquitoes and a small fan. The lady there is so rude and tends to forget you did pay to stay. There's alot of other places around the same location that are the same price and so much nicer. And im ok with basics but this location they reallly shouldn't advertise it.

We booked for two nights and paid ahead of time. When we got there, we were told we had the wrong place. We drove around asking locals where it was located and were directed back to original place. The lady then admitted it was the right place but that they didn't have our reservation! Unbelieveable. I had confirmed with them 2 days before arrival. Now they are saying that we checked in at 2:00 pm that day and won't credit us. Expedia has proof that we didn't land in Mobay until 7:28 pm! Liars and thieves. We're getting our money back with Expedia.
