Casa Viola

This is a very nice apartment above the Bar Viola in Isolaccia, Valdidentro. The hospitaly of the hosts (two brothers) was perfect, we felt very welcome and they were super friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was big enough and had everything we needed. Our little boy had enough space to run around and he liked the little balcony the most. His (and our) bed was approved and we had good nights (the cycling probably also helped). Isolaccio is only 8km from Bormio and the start of the Selvio, surrounded by nice mountains and spectacular views. Be aware, however, that Casa Viola is located at a busy roundabout, meaning that it's not always so peaceful on the terrace and balcony. Sandwiches but especially the ice cream was very good! The Casa has no car parking itself but there are approx 6 spots next to the church, which were free most of the time and free of charge. There is a bike parking in the basement! The Lago di Cancano are close-by and highly recommended for a day trip! The only two minor comments I would like to make is that (i) the floor of the apartment was very dirty when we arrived (previous guests had a dog?) and (ii) there are no curtains in the bedroom (which we could solve by hanging the big bath towels in front of the window).
