Garni Villa Tyrol - Adults Only

We nearly changed our minds when we saw some of the reviews. As it was to be a base for our trips around Merano, we just wanted somewhere clean, comfortable, central and reasonably priced. It ticked all these boxes and more. The gardens are lovely, the room was comfortable, well equipped and spotless, the wi fi excellent, and we think its the only place we have ever stayed with a candle lit on the breakfast table. Breakfast was ample with lots of choice. The rooms and breakfast room seemed newly renovated. There are some very good restaurants nearby, as well as bus stops and a very short walk to the town centre. The owner seemed to work very hard to keep everything just so, and though her English was much better than our German or Italian, it was limited but she was obviously keen that we enjoyed our stay and had all we needed. She seemed very charming and chatted to all her guests. We would return and recommend.
