We stayed at Spagna Royal Suite and were upgraded to a beautiful room above the Prada Boutique on the Plazza di Spagna. The people at the Hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. Just a short walk away from the reception we entered the building where our room was situated and we took a beautiful old elevator up to the 3rd floor. We entered and were stunned by the beautiful view and great room.

Booked hotel for wife's birthday. Pre-arranged roses on chocolates for early next day (since we were arriving late the night before). Reception sorted that out without even asking for monies upfront. Arived late at night, and we still managed to find a restaurant at 11:30 p.m. that served excellent authentic Roman food within 3 minutes walk. The hotel is situated about 130 yards from the Spanish steps and 10 to 15 min walk to the Pantheon and 30min to 45min walks to major attraction sites. 10-15 min taxi drive to Vatican city. 

Restaurants and cafes galore within 5 min walk. Last but not least you are in the centre of serious shopping fix.

Hotel staff, courteous and accommodating. Rooms are clean, cool and different and they DO look like the pictures. Breakfast was very decent too.

Very convenient location, clean rooms. Really good breakfast in the morning, definitely worth it, get it if you can add it with the room. Amazing and super helpful front desk. They also gave us a cell phone to use with free calls to several countries and internet. Overall very pleasant experience. 

We stayed at Spagna royal suites during our visit to Rome to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. We stayed at the suite and were absolutely impressed with the room. The location of the hotel was more than perfect providing us with the perfect base for a successful stay in Rome. The only drawback was the dull looking entrance to the hotel the extremely old and wore down looking hallways and lift and the extremely small reception area. The reception was to a problem as such just not very impressive at our arrival and check-in process (huge amount of suitcases made it even more jammed). I will also say that I was surprised that the hotel did know that we was celebrating a big day, but gave no attention to that in any way. Maybe I am just a spoiled traveler but a little card on the bed is no job at all, but does make a huge difference. However, overall fantastic location and nice room.

What a great room!!

Boutique Hotel in the centre of everything.

Great hotel

Perfect location

 Stayed here for a few nights. Huge bath . Large bed.  In the centre for designer shops. Close to steps and metro. Nice restaurants. If booking again would choose somewhere with sunbathing facilities as weather too hot and nowhere to relax other than a bar just outside of hotel which was great.  Good if weather not too hot as nowhere other than a big bed to relax on
