We booked the Valle Di Venere so that we could visit a family members war grave at the Sangro River Cemetery. We arrived at the end of summer, and quickly found out we were the only people staying in the hotel. We were looked after really well (when we arrived, the hot water had accidently been turned off - as soon as we told the staff two of them came in and tracked down the problem). The hotel sits on the hill above the marina, and was only about 10 minutes from the war cemetery so ideal for our needs. We found a lovely family run resturant down on the waterfront and had a magnificent meal. Breakfast in the morning was lovely - all set out just for the two of us. This is a nice quiet hotel - although we imagine it gets very busy in the summer.
