We stayed for two nights. Our bedroom was huge, very confortable with a/c, high ceilings and wonderful antique furniture, a true historical palace converted to B&B
Breakfast, both sweet, with home made cakes and jams, and savoury, served in the garden if the weather permits or in a beautiful room. 
Next to the garden a small spa with sauna and jacuzzi
Free parking included
Mrs. Anna Maria and her husband were very helpful host always ready to assist with suggestions.

A true pleasure to have spent several days in this special property - generous in space and character, with added warmth from the presence and engagement of Sig.ra Anna Maria. Located for an easy walk to the centre of Recanati and ready access to quality restaurants such as Osteria Poesia a Tavola and Osteria di Via Leopardi. A great experience.

A hidden gem

This is a simple B&B outside the walls in Recanati.  The rooms and beds are a little dated. The rooms do not necessarily live up to the glossy photos on the web site.  The service was good and the breakfast was fine.

B&B in Recanati, Italy

We stayed here for two nights following a recommendation from friends who have relatives in the area. 

Despite visiting Le Marche many times we had never been to Recanati. It is a very pretty town with a beautiful town square and civic buildings. There are several museums to visit and other things to do. It's most famous son is Giacomo Leopardi who we had heard of although his work is little known in England. The weekend we visited they were celebrating his birthday (29.06) with big fiestas in the evening.

Now to Palazzo della Casa Picolo. This sits behind an impressive facade but to be honest you would walk past it ( we actually past it in the car several times!) once inside it is very beautiful. We had a suite with our bedroom and and separate living area. High ceilings huge windows tiled floors this is a true palazzo and we felt like royalty. We had everything we needed on hand. 

The bed was comfortable with high quality sheets and bedding. The a/c was a luxury that was extremely useful. Tea and coffee making facilities were regularly replenished. 

The bathroom was well equipped with bath and shower. A range of toiletries were supplied. Our sitting room was huge and beautifully furnished.

The breakfast was a wonderful spread of food, both sweet and savoury. Everything you could want. 

 Donna Anna Maria and her husband Giovanni were very gracious host a. Always happy to assist with local advice. 

This is a very special place with very gracious hosts. A real treat!

I was there with my friends last summer and we really loved this enchanted b&b. Two of us shared the big room, and a third had its own room. This is basically an old palazzo converted in a b&b. It feels like home. Highly recommended. Price is reasonable.

four of us stayed there in September this year   and had a wonderful time    Anna Maria was a wonderful hostess   we love our accommodations and the staff was great  and helpful  .our breakfast was terrific and was a beautiful layout   . she also had a wonderful garden with wonderful views   would recommend this very highly   especial to someonse who wants off beaten with so many sites to see in the Marches
