Agriturismo La Biada

We went for dinner at La Biada in Santa Margarita Pula Sardinia last night the food was amazing, antipasti was caponata, polenta with Gorgonzola, mushrooms with pecorino, pecorino cheese slices with cured sausage, primo was ricotta ravioli and trofie pasta with pesto, an intermediate of carrots and tomato was served after the primary course’s. Secondo of suckling piglet bred 1 mile away in the Sardinian mountains with crispy skin was delicious, cooked on an open fire in the farms gardens. Red wine made in the farm was served and re-filled throughout the meal that complemented all the dishes. Service was excellent with the owner of the farm/restaurants wife and daughters all working hard to look after a full to capacity outside eating area, the dishes where explained as they served to us at our tables. The bill for the 2 of us was only 80 Euros. We ordered a taxi back to Pulas Center and we were taken there by a lovely man in that turned out to be not a taxi driver but the owner of the farm he did not want any money for his troubles just to get us back safe.
