Beatiful location in sardinia But a little far from everything,  so depending on The period You Will find a Service To The Beach ,  we were in september And There was a shuttle Service To The Beach But Not sunchair or Sun Umbrella included

Nice location

We hired a villa which was to accommodate 6 people, in Cugnana Verde. The villa was adequate though lighting in one bedroom extremely poor and kitchen light did not work.
The site blatantly was not fit to accept visitors - children's pool was not available and the main pool was drained.  Work was being undertaken on Restaurant which meant excessive noise level (drilling) as early as 7.30 in the morning.  Also, a stage area was being constructed and loud music played again very early some mornings.
Excellent shop on site.
Fortunately we had hired a vehicle as bus service was not frequent and site was quite isolated and in an extremely hilly region.
We travelled at the very end Of May into June so would have expected more of the facilities.  Site office were not at all helpful.
All in all not a holiday to be repeated 

Rather disappointing holiday

This resort is massive and spread out across a very steep hillside. You have to be fit to walk up and down the steep steps and their are hundreds of them. The pool is massive too - but there is only one pool for hundreds of people - and when we were there it was only open 10am-1pm 3pm-7pm...closed 1pm-3pm regardless of the weather. Mid September and the only cafe/restaurant closed...one small mini-market and after that a drive out to supermarket in Portocisco 3-miles away. The resort staff were helpful, our accommodation was basic - a time share (RCI) swap - but nowhere near as well equipped as our base resort. There are excellent beaches a short drive away. There were tennis courts but we did not use them. There are excellent views. Olbia airport is 15-minutes away. 

The season had clearly ended in mid-september

This resort is located in a beautiful forest just above a beautiful see spot. It is isolated so the resort should provide above average comfort and some entertainment. They fail in both fields. The rooms are small and crowded with hardly any maintenance. You feel almost like in a tent.
There are some entertainment teams but they lack a minimum degree of professionalism and everything they do is so boring... The restaurant on site sells some pasta and some pizza. Nothing else. Some music is played in the evening but if you don't have anything decent to eat you cannot enjoy the music. If you decide to take your car (the only possible transportation) you have to come back early because otherwise you have to get out of your car walk about 300m and look for the concierge that is somewhere in the resort and has the entrance key.
The staff is no more than OK. The only thing we could really enjoy were the 2 mini markets on the site. We could buy excellent food and we enjoyed the chat with the nice owners of the shop. In conclusion you may visit this resort only as a family with kids and only if you agree with cooking by yourself in a minimal kitchen.

Not recommended

The reception closes every day at 20.00pm,therefore ,since our flight arrived later than that time,they suggested we book at a nearby hotel.We called RCI and they answered they don't interfere to each hotel's policy.So we spent our first night at a nearby hotel at our cost of course.The apartment 's furniture was from the 80's and the main double bed was just a sofa-bed with a tiny mattress ,you could

Left stay in our car first night reception open when they want when they do open there very ignorant not helpfull every thing is an add on 70 for cleaning 10 for towels 50for pool 35 for tv 15 a day for Aircon false advertising on there website place should be closed down whole resort is dated old furniture dodgy repair work done  

Avoid if possible 

Arrived to find it almost deserted Reception locked Had to find somebody  No one spoke English No assistance with heavy bags Lots of steps to any of the villla rooms Basic room resembling a 60 s style Butlins chalet No oven. no kettle. no microwave Had to turn off boiler with a wooden spoon if used any electricity !! Taken to dark shed with fuse box and shown hoe to re set if fused !!!had to make own beds Sheets were stained and dirty - shower bidet toilet filthy Litter graffitti outside and in corridor area In middle of nowhere it suggests a car !!(a  car is ESSENTIAL to get off the complex) Pool only open 10am to 6pm and when they chose to openOnly one restaurant on site and it closed for the season 3 days into our holiday !! (we cut our losses and paid moved to a 5 * hotel in Olbia ) No cleaner went in al week No fresh towels or sheets provided all week 2 small electric hobs to cook on boiled water in a small saucepan (Yet advertsed as self catering !!)On departure we had to take all our rubbish from room to the re cycling bins nand sort into glass plastic etc etc No on site entertainment no menu or signage in English All in Italian and impossible to communicate anything No local bus or way to get 5 miles to Porto Rotunda without a car (50 euros in a taxi ) So stuck in a concrete Colditz with limited activity 3 mile round walk up down a very steep hill to any where off the complex !!Totally disappointing holiday and marred the beautiful island of Sardinia  

Holiday from hell

We were 8 people. We arrived at the reception to check in and there was a little surprise: we had to pay OBLIGATORY €626 extra (apart from the €83 of taxes that also children had to pay). 

The concept of this money was not an spa session, it was for light, water, bedsheets, animation and the use of the swimming pool, and IT WAS NOT WRITTEN IN THE CONFIRMATION OF THE RESERVATION, so you PAY AND YOU DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS UNTIL YOU ARRIVE THERE.

Everything was obligatory to pay, we didn't want to go to the swimming pool, or take part of the animation, we only wanted to go to the beach every day, and they obligated us to pay that amount of money if we wanted the keys of the apartment. It was really disappointing the whole thing. 

Also, the staff was really really rude, the worst people I have talked with in my life. They didn't give any explanation. We were there 4 hours with children, without eating trying to get an agreement but they didn't want to listen, they only wanted the money. 

Later, they turned the air conditioner off, so that we leave but of course we did not.
We were so tired of arguing that we called the police and it took 30 minutes for them to come. We thought we were going to end with this but that was another joke, the police was on their side just because they were italian and we were not. They were laughing in front of us, thinking that we didn't understand a word but of course we did, we don't speak Italian but we understand EVERYTHING and it was maddening. 

Apart from all this awful things, when we finally payed we went to the apartment and it was the drop that fills the glass. It was really big, which is good, but it was a DISASTER. You can look at the pictures and see what I am talking about. 

Also, there was no cutlery (3 spoons and 3 knifes for 8 people), we didn't get the bedsheets we had payed for, one bed was broken, the towels for the shower were APART from all that money... and lots lots of bad things that I would never finish explaining... 

To sum up, a COMPLETE DISASTER.

The worst experience of our life. DO NOT COME!

After arriving at Olbia airport, we tried to call Cugnana Verde for directions to the complex.  No answer for 2 hours. We were given an apartment which was run down, lights didn't work and the shower was so small and water trickled out of the shower head. We were ignored when we complained and showered mainly in the swimming pool complex showers.  Staff spoke little or no English and were really rude for Italian people in general.  Breakfast was like feeding time at the zoo.  The local bus that took you to beach ran when it wanted to although they advertised times for drop off and collection. This meant at times over on hour waiting in the sweltering heat. Food was average and not as good as normal Italian food. I would never go again to this place, although I would go again to Sardinia to explore the Island further.  I would like to add, I have travelled a lot of Italy and know that most Italians are not as rude and unhelpful as those that we encountered here but if I had never been to Italy before I would think that all Italians were rude in general which is a shame.
