We arrive: sorry but the parking lot? answer: below there is an entrance can park there, if it's full of foam across the front of my motorbike. we enter the room, walls painted with socks. bed made of two different mattresses, one higher and one lower. I mean very uncomfortable, there is no pillow. window in the room, I close it and it reappears. Bathroom: window in the shower that is wet to show a little mold, the second one left without paper in the bathroom. conditioner: a coffee maker that keeps you up all night. TV: there is only audio. In Montenegro at 20 years old I paid nine euros for a room like this.

Absolute penalty

We start from the reception: room completely different from the photos, we found out in the evening that the rooms had not been refurbished. I allowed myself to ask why and I was told that since I left the room after 10 am I could not claim the refurbishment.

No words

It's a terrible place. Zero hygiene, stray cats everywhere. The owners get used to threatening guests if you complain. Besides, we've been spied on all this time, we couldn't say anything: if the beds weren't comfortable, if something was missing, if cats weren't liked.

Shameful

A spacious, fragrant, clean and complete room of every comfort! The facility is close to the sea about 5 minutes by car! I've agreed with the facility. Owner available and ready to recommend you locations and attractions of the place!

Structure well maintained

We spent a few days there. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and furnished in a simple way; there was air conditioning and a small refrigerator, but the space to support clothes and suitcases/bags was not very much. Outside, under a small portico there were couches and chairs to relax and stands available to guests. The car seats were only two and not comfortable, since the house is right on the street and in a corner. There are pets (a cat and a small dog) and someone may have been bothered by them, but they did not have access to the rooms.

Simple settlement away from chaos

The room was clean and spacious. I would suggest putting in a few chairs to support personal things. The bathroom is new and very clean, with a comfortable shower. The location is not bad even if it's not close to the sea. What I didn't like is the time for breakfast: aside from a good breeze, the rest was jam and Nutella in industrial monoporation. The added value of a b&b is often just breakfast where you can taste the hostess's treats. One thing we really didn't like is that during breakfast, a relaxing moment where the body and mind start to activate, we had to suffer the screams of the hostess and her children who didn't care about the guests they had. I think this is a serious lack of attention towards customers.

Okay, but...

B&b in Castrocucco is a fraction of a mile from Maratea and a mile from Praia a Mare. It has three rooms, where I stayed it was spacious with air conditioning and a small fridge bar. Very clean and daily towels change. Availability of car parking and bicycle rental. Cordiality of Mrs. Cinzia and family. Good breakfast with homemade cakes and fresh cornets. The location allows you to reach any beach in a short time.
