We stopped in Genoa for 3 days. Lovely bright room. We were greeted when we arrived and given a key, then we were pretty much on our own, just how we like it. You get lots of choices for breakfast in the room (milk, cereal, coffee, juice, croissants, toast, bread, fruit, biscuits, tea, yogurt, butter, water sparkling and still). Shower, towels, hair drier, as you would expect. Everything was clean and the next day when we returned the room was cleaned again while we were gone. Not much of a view from our room but that's ok. We were very pleased with our stay. It is very close to the old port and the aquarium. Would recommend!

Value for money

Wonderful staff! Friendly and helpful, took care for us all the time, always ready to assist, fast and easy pleasant communication, thank you all! 
Definitely great location, pretty nice area for a calm walk in early hours or lively area of the port at night – all day long walk around is nice and you’re just few steps crossing the boulevard to the old town. A bit tricky at first to find out it but once you know where it is then it’s pretty easy indeed. 
Charming place indoor, nice color combinations, good fast Wi-Fi connection comfy beds, great variety of food and drinks for breakfast and very clean!

This B&B, when it is full, offers a cold, charmless apartment in a fabric-type building in front of the harbour, instead. This is what happened to us, we booked it following the good reviews and pics, but we soon realised we had made a mistake when we saw the place. We were planing to share breakfast with other people and spend overnight in a cool and charming atmosphere.
Well, nothing more distance to reality. It was too late to change plans, when you discover it ... and we just would not recommend the place because they do not inform when they do this, for the sake of greed. This apartment could be an option, a cheaper one, and always if you'd know what you are buying before.

Fake information leads to disappointment

Nice place, relaxing b&b, hope to come back to genoa with much more time as we didn't enjoy all the city. Comfy bed but a little noise from the outside. Nice breakfast and kindness of staff for all our short stay.

Nice place

As we arrived, there was a nice young smiling man waiting for us, his name was Ulrich, who welcomed us & insisted to help us with the luggage.                                                       Upon helping us inside, Ulrich explained everything - the unit was bright, with an up to date furnishings, snacks, oranges, bananas, water, orange juices etc.
Ulrich went out of his way in explaining map directions of where we wanted to go.
The unit was so comfortable, that we were sad to leave it the next morning .... but all  credit was due to one lovely manager, Ulrich.                                                                We have no hesitation in recommending this "Hidden Gem" in Genoa.                        We were in Europe for 10 weeks, this was one of our top stay ....                             Well done Ulrich !!
