The worst experience I have ever had in my travels. Due to transportation issues, we arrived in Ciampino at 10:40 PM. The hotel reception is open until 9:30 PM. We paid the full price for the room in advance and on the way to the hotel, we wrote to the manager that we had some difficulties and would arrive a little later. Yes, unfortunately, we were 1 hour late. But that happens when you travel. The problem is that there is no customer support option in case of unexpected problems. We were told that they had waited for us until 10:30 PM and were leaving. At this point, we were already running through the train station and reported this. When we reached the hotel 7 minutes later, the receptionist was no longer answering. We had to spend the night at the airport because it was cold and unsafe outside. We understand that the receptionist has paid working hours, but there should be an emergency solution (we offered to send pictures of our passports and asked to tell us number of the room and leave the key anywhere)! Travelers should not be left on the street if they have paid and warned that they are already on their way. I think the service is not worthy of the European level. The worst experience in many years!!!!!

Absolutely disappointed

I stayed here with a friend for one night before going to the airport (a 10 minute bus ride but cash payments only!) It was a quiet area with some supermarkets and restaurants close by. The location was perfect and the accommodation was good value for money. The room itself was simple but looked far nicer than the photos portrayed. There was no air conditioning but a fan on the ceiling which gave off a slight breeze. Overall the room felt very hot, but for one night this was fine.

Convenient location & affordable

Close to Ciampino train station and the airport bus station. For a short stay it is good to put on the accommodation list, fearing that it is easy to get to the airport with 1.20 euros by bus. There are various rooms with private bathroom and shared bathroom. In Rome you can go by train that runs very often at a good price. Next to the pension there is a restaurant and a supermarket.

Close to the train station

I selected Albergo Anna because it situated close to the railway station and bus stop to Ciampino airport and also because it was inexpensive. The place is 'old fashioned' but clean with comfortable bed. Washroom with shower is in the corridor. Internet worked fine. They advertise: breakfast included. But it was just mini cup of coffee (selfmade), tiny orange juice and packed croissant.

We had 2 rooms on 1st May '14 - 4 nights with ryanhotels
1.Not even a word in English and the lady interested only to collect money and hide away
2.The breakfast : a rusk /marmolade (no knife to smear) + 50ml plastic cup for coffee - but coffee machine - out of order
3.A liitle fridge - out of order in both rooms - 
4.Big balcony - painted during our stay - balcony out of use - 2 days
5.Dirty drawers - so nothing to put inside
6.Last day the lady took our stuff out of the rooms at 11.00.

The worst and most disgusting rooms owner....

Please do yourself a favour and book elsewhere! This place is beyond a joke! And the taxi fare for a two minute ride is ridiculous! The photo’s you see on their website does NOT BY ANY MEAN REFLECT THEIR BUSINESS…Back to this hotel “IF” you could even call it that! Firstly you walk into what really is a residential house block of units. I am most certain we were boarding in someone’s room. The lady done all the paperwork in the room as they don’t have a reception because it is a residential block of homes! The towel we got where 100% theirs and I mean theirs that they would probably use when they don’t have guests! Some had pictures of characters on it and were so old and crusty. Now the bath room has a toilet which is a plus but the shower is NOT encased so the toilet gets saturated so you have to use your crusty towels to wipe it dry and the floor floods!  And don’t expect to get ANY sleep as it is so close to the airport which is the ONLY plus minus the taxi fare you will hear planes ALL night!!! Between that and hearing other people in the building it is a truly memorable night for all the wrong reasons! Do yourself a favour stay in ROME! The fare by train is less that 2 euro each out to Ciampino! You CAN walk to the airport but don’t ask the taxi drivers as they will lie to you as they did to us! Totally ripped off!
