416 reviewsWe absolutely loved this hotel. We had the room on the top floor with a large patio and loungers. The room was quiet, view was superb, bed comfortable, great shower. No kettle in room but they brought one as soon as we asked. Minibar prices were what you would pay at a store, no intent to rip off the guests. The walk from town was reasonable and a perfect balance between being in town yet away from the crowds and noise. A few restaurants at the base of the steps and nice rooftop bar at a hotel there as well. The buses are a bit crazy, unpredictable and full. Recommend ferries where possible and not staying too far outside of city centre unless you plan on going yo a hotel for a beach vacation and staying there. Cabs are a complete ripoff. The owner of the hotel and Francesca along the breakfast staff were so helpful and friendly. Speaking of breakfast, it was so good! Eggs to order if you wish, a great spread of fruit, pastries and cheeses. Made to order espresso and Coffees. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Also recommend a boat rental from Jack.it boats at bottom of stairs. Great day on the water. No license required.
