I was in Springhill hotel Kilkenny early January this year ,during that particular visit I became unwell .To say that members of staff particularly those who work in swimming pool were brilliant is an understatement.Thanks to their quick thinking and that of the rest of the clients in the area ,the result could have been a lot worse .So thank you to everyone from a very grateful client .I would recommend this hotel to everybody and especially the leisure center area .

I don’t  normally get time to leave reviews but we had such a fabulous time in The SpringHill Hotel and the staff took such good care of us (in particular Emma Jayne, Avril and Marie) that I couldn’t not give them and this beautiful venue a mention.  

Myself and my partner attended a wedding here and ended up staying two extra days as we both agreed it was a 10 out of 10 ⭐️ experience from start to finish. The rooms, the food and the staff were just top class. We didn’t want to leave and will certainly be back.

The Hotel staff absolutely gorgeous and attractive.
Rooms are so cozy and comfortable with lovely decorations.
The chefs are absolutely out of this world, they cooked for us a separate meal every day of our staying as we are Muslims.
Guys at the SPA are also so nice, they give hats, towels, and goggles for free.

Home from home! Some familiar, friendly faces - Dawn in Reservations was great sorting our booking. Caroline welcomed everyone at reception, (Queen) Carmel, Mags and Anita all very welcoming in the restaurant. 
Some 'new' faces - Tim (cleared tables in jig-time); 
With 120 people at each sitting, Enda, William, Catherine, Victoria and Esther worked so hard to get everyone served.  Andrew kept our room immaculate. Denis in the pool was very friendly. 
Thanks to Everyone for an enjoyable break.  Plenty of free parking available. 
A visit to the Reptile Zoo is recommended.  Kilkenny itself is a lovely town to saunter through - do visit Allans shop for lots of household items.  ENJOY!

Had a great time staying in this hotel. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Good atmosphere in the bar. Lunch and breakfast very tasty. Will definitely come back again

Family break away we are just back from this hotel today and we had an amazing time, Staff are very friendly and know there job well, Bedrooms are spotless and beds are really comfortable, This is a great hotel for kids with a park/playground on site and a swimming pool in the hotel, We will be returning!

The bar food was delicious and even though it was busy we didn't have a long wait for our dinner 
Breakfast was also very good and plenty of it as well 
Room was nice and clean and after 12 very quiet
We also went for a swim changing room very clean

amazing service my family recieved from you over the weekend for my dads 65th.

The hotel went above and beyond to make our dads 65th so special and we are so thankful for everything.

The staff,rooms and food was amazing, there is not one thing we could fault.

All room were lovely! My parents where given a beautiful room with sweets from the hotel for my dads birthday. They gave us a private room we did not even ask for and also made menus with" happy 65th birthday" on them for our meal. 

The best service! We will be back for sure!

Stayed here as part of a Hen on the October Bank Holiday weekend. Check in was nice and easy and all staff throughout were extremely helpful. We forgot to book Breakfast both mornings but was very easy to get seated not much option unfortunately but it was lovely anyway. We had food in the bar on sunday afternoon and it was brilliant and staff couldn't have done more to help us.

I didn't use the Leisure Centre myself but some of the group did and they found it to be very good and staff very nice.  Would be happy out to stay here again in the future.

Stayed in the Spring Hill Saturday night, the room was fab and absolutely spotless. We booked in for dinner and breakfast the next morning and the food was delicious!. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Good atmosphere and will definitely return again!

Lovely stay

Great 2 night stay

This is a nice hotel with a lovely pool.The staff were very friendly and helpful.The room was beautiful and comfortable with an adequate shower.The breakfast was a buffet an very good.
The dinner in the bar wasnt great with poor choices.All in all a nice place to stay.

Two night getaway

We were a family of 4 that stayed over the October mid-term break. We picked the hotel especially for the swimming pool and kids club which had various activities to suit our little ones. Overall we were happy with the stay,rooms were very clean and staff friendly. We had dinner in the bar two night and for adults it was good but we were not that impressed with the kids menu, first night they had the burger and fish and chips and was good second night one had a pizza ordered off the main menu and one had the kids pasta and that was it pasta nothing else we asked for a sauce as per menu and then it came out swimming in the sauce and it was just tomatoe sauce nothing else so it wasnt eaten, other than that we cant complain as the room rate was reasonable to explore Kilkenny. We would consider going back . Breakfast was served in the ballroom to accommodate SD but it was cold in there so eat and go.

October mid term.

Title Says it all folks. Stayed here 2 weeks ago for a good friends wedding. From the minute I got there the reception staff couldn't have been more accommodating, getting me checked in early so I could get ready for the ceremony. 

When I got to my room, well I was underwhelmed. Small room, Scuff marks all over the skirting boards, a plastic bag over the smoke detector, cracked tiles in the bathroom, and a dainty looking shower. All in all a little disappointing, however for 1 Night did the job, and the bed was really comfy. 

Back to the wedding, a beautiful soup to start off the meal, followed by a delectable Vol - au - Vant, a lovely Beef mains and finished off by a trio of deserts, A wonderful meal all round. Special shout out to Fifi, who runs a great service!

The hotel boasts a fantastic Leisure Centre and myself and a friend were up bright and early for a swim before delving into breakfast. Breakfast was nice, a buffet selection like most hotels but also you can order off the menu for poached eggs an omelettes which really set you up for the day, or for most guests, ease the hangovers. 

Guys the main areas of the hotel are sublime, service from staff amazing, food delicious, but the rooms really do need a refurb. Still for 1 night, I can live with it. Probably would stay again for a short stay!

Dredful hotel. Room clean and nicely decorated but only one bath towel and one tube of shower gel in bathroom. Dinner was part of deal, disaster... if we wanted bar food would not have booked dinner in advance.... restaurant was closed, we were not informed so we were shunted into the Paddock Bar, no sign of cutlery/condiments and heaven forbid a table cloth, ordered our meal, no cutlery brought for soup, steak was asked to be well cooked, it was burned to a cinder but pink inside, the chips and onion rings were way overcooked, salad only decent item on plate, did not send it back because too much hassle then to top it all we received the wrong bar/steak supplement bill, all in all it was hard work we did not see the same waiter/waitress twice, they were running round like headless chickens. Disaster from start to finish.
