My cousin and I went to stay for night simply to enjoy a few drinks and live music.

The gentleman who looked after us (his name escapes me) was polite funny and genuine. The room itself was nice, two beds and a small tv, but that's all we wanted and it was absolutely spotless clean.

Our heads were a little sore and we were sleeping through breakfast but we even received a polite call to let us know we had 15 minutes left to avail of it if we wanted which I thought was a very considerate touch.

I would absolutely stay here again.

I was greeted by Sarah who showed me to my room on the first floor. The room was bright & cheerful. There was a place for for everything & the ensuite was sparkling & had a whole variety of soaps & shampoo. The bed was really comfortable & I enjoyed a perfect nights sleep. In the morning breakfast was served between 7.30 & 10.00. There was a full array of fruits, juices , cereals & home baked breads as well as toast. There was a buffet & a freshly Cooked breakfast to order. It was as comprehensive as I have ever seen in a breakfast room. It was a real pleasure to stay & I will look forward to staying again as soon as I'm in the area.

Spent 2 nights here and can only say that it was perfect...5/5....Dave went over and beyond in his hospitality, everything from an excellent breafast, very clean rooms, and he even helped us out with "taxi service" on one occasion. Kudos to the Quay West!!

Stayed there for 4 nights. David and his wife run a great place. Rooms made up every day with fresh linen. Bed fantastically comfortable! Fresh cooked breakfast every morning to order. David and his wife made me feel so welcome. If I'm back in Westport I'll stay here again! I couldn't fault it.

I cannot recommend this lovely B&B highly enough and have just enjoyed two nights stay there. The facilities are really good and Netflix was available in our room which was a nice bonus.

David is a wonderful host and made us very welcome. Will certainly have no hesitation staying here again the next time I am visiting Westport.

Highly recommend to stay in this comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean Guest house with easy access to the Beatiful town of Westport. Fabulous backdrop of Croagh Patrick from our bedroom window. Great breakfast to set you on your way to explore the Greenway and the Achill islands. Excellent value for money.

Thank you to David, our stay at his guest house is excellent. Great breakfast and the room is top class. The location is very central with in walking distance to everything. We wish we could stay longer but we have to move on.

We stayed for a night at The Quay West B&B. The location was good, there was ample parking, and the room had all the standard amenities you would expect in a B&B.

However, there were a few issues for us. The first is that the wifi was cutting out constantly for us in our room. We tried using it in the downstairs sitting room and there was no issue. However, it was a real frustration trying to use the internet in our room. In addition, we found the walls to be not very soundproof. In our room, we can hear other guests walking and talking in the hallway. When we were downstairs, we could hear people in their rooms upstairs!

Finally, note that the breakfast may not be included in your price, especially if you book through a 3rd party website. It was a surprise to us when checking out that we were charged extra for the breakfast. The breakfast itself was good and the price was reasonable (€5/person).  However, one of my pet peeves is B&Bs where there is no breakfast, or it’s tacked on as an extra cost.
