This was our first Bed & Breakfast expérience on our 2 week Ireland trip and it was perfect!  The hostess was so
Kind and offered us tea and coffee as soon as we came in.  The room was spacious and comfortable.  We ventured out to Athlone and had a drink at Sean’s Bar and took in the castle.  Breakfast was amazing, and in a gorgeous sun room.  We felt so comfortable and at home.  Would definitely stay again.  ~Jessica & James

Brita's B&B is very spacious and well-kept, and we felt so comfortably at home for the two nights we stayed. This destination is quiet and beautiful, perfect for someone who wants to experience Athlone and environs while having a peaceful and picturesque place to rest with one of the kindest hosts you can imagine. Her breakfasts are delicious, and served in a sunlight-filled setting, perfect to greet the days you'll wish never to end!

From the minute we walked into this beautiful home it felt like home. We were offered tea or coffee, cupcakes and biscuits as we literally walked in the door. Margaret was an exceptional host even advised us where to have an evening meal in the nearby village of Glassan. The room, with beautiful view of the countryside, was very comfortable, clean with lots of beautiful large white towels including lots of cupboard space. Lovely appointed bathroom with nice hot shower. The true Irish hot breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared. We would definately return. Lyn & Michael McCann

Breda, the host was amazing and cooked a great breakfast in the mornings made with quality ingredients. We were staying here for a wedding in athlone, the prices were great. We stayed with 2 adults and 2 children, and the beads are very comfortable, with very clean sheets, Nicely made. Breda made sure that you felt very welcome and was a smashing host. Would 100% stay again, and would recommend you stay here if you want great prices, a great sleep, great host and a great breakfast!!

I booked this B&B for my partner Matt as he needed to visit the area for a few days. He was so glad with his visit I felt I needed to write a review. He said Breda the host could not have been nicer. Our room was nicely prepared, our host was so friendly in spite of our late arrival.
Tea and biscuits were offered in the irish living room and the breakfast was just perfect ! Our best step address during our road trip in Ireland :)

Our 6th visit !! Just 15 minutes from Athlone & 10 minutes from Glasson where you will find a selection of quality restraunts. The rooms are clean & cozy, with all the details that make a difference, lots of clean, crisp, decent sized towels, great shower, a proper hair dryer !! The fried breakfast is beautiful, clean, not at all greasy & made with quality ingredients.
Basically the perect b & b if you want to feel welcome.
