This was by far the best Paddy's Palace I've stayed in. (Don't stay in Belfast's!) Very well-trained and friendly staff and it's clean. It's great to have the pub attached and you can get your food there, because this hostel/b and b is remote, not in town.

Would 100% recommend here, myself and a friend had a double room. It was great value. The bed was really comfortable and there was a great shower. Lovely staff too who accommodated our late check in. Bars not opened at the moment

A friend of mine gave me travel advice for my upcoming trip to Ireland and he raved about the village of Annascaul (how pretty and truly Irish it was) and told me to stay at the new Paddy’s Palace hostel because it was well-equipped, and centrally located.  It isn’t new, it has been renovated.  I liked it because it had the charm of an old building with high ceilings and a big staircase, but it had been redone in a modern way.  There are lots of pubs in the village, but the one I liked best was the one attached to the hostel because it was obvious that the locals hung out there.  As far as hostels go, this one is top-notch.

A very nice hostel in pretty Annascaul

I travel with a group of students to Ireland and the Dingle Peninsula regularly. As a rule, my group has always stayed at the hostel in Annascaul because of its central location on the peninsula.  It is close to Inch Beach, Dingle town and many hiking trails. I also talk to my students about the great Irish Antarctic explorer Tom Crean who was from Annascaul and there is a lot to see in the village related to the life of the great adventurer.  The dorms at Paddy’s Palace, now newly renovated, are spacious. The hostel is not too busy and big, but has enough beds to accommodate my entire group.  The other travelers staying there range in age from young adults to travellers on a budget to families. All in all, it is a very affordable, convenient and nice place to stay. As a bonus, there is a pub called the Randy Leprechaun that is literally attached to the hostel and it has good hearty pub fare for a good price.

Central, affordable, newly renovated!

We were both comfortable and amused and relaxed at Paddy's Palace. I felt very at home. It was unbelievable value, at 14 euros a night. I had a room to myself and my friend, Tom. Thank you again. It was great craik!

Best value hostel in Ireland!!

Came here as part of our Explorer Belt expedition around Ireland. When we came there had been an error with the booking (only 1 person instead of 6) but the staff were very accommodating and sorted the problem very quickly. The beds were very comfortable and the room was en-suite (the shower didn't work but that wasn't a problem as there were enough around the hostel). Breakfast was free as well (cereal and toast) which helped us save our budget a little more.

One thing I would say was that the beds were a little unstable so when someone was tossing and turning below me it transferred up to me on the top bunk which made it a lot harder to sleep. Overall though, amazing value for money and by far the best place we stayed. I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing value for money!

Very clean hostel and it was really warm (maybe a little too warm), friendly staff and really helpful throughout our stay.  Recommended places to eat etc... Could do with a sink in the toilet as you've to go to the shower room to wash your hands, but other than that can't fault it and so reasonably priced.

Great value for money

Paddy's Palace in Dingle was nice, clean and quiet. There's hardwood floors, spacious rooms, good breakfast and good service. I stayed there for my accommodations on a 6 day Paddywagon tour. It's a small town, after a full day of touring dinner and a soft bed was all I needed. If you're looking for a pub they have their own pub which wad  right next door. I have no complaints. I would stay there again.

The bedroom doesn't look clean, maybe because the bathroom was dirty when we got to the room. The heater wasn't working and we have to ask for a new one because the bedroom was really cold! There wasn't instructions in the room about the code to get inside and not everyone received a key...
