Soban was very polite and helpful throughout. The entire staff was very courteous. It made our stay vert special and homely. The scuba was also amazing amd we had an amazing diver. Highly recommend this place. 

The stay was amazing and very homely

Hi all,

I do travel on a regular basis. But it was very alarming to find such a lodge sort of a structure and called resort. Following shall be borne in mind prior even thinking about this place :-

1) There is no wifi connection in the room. I don't know will there be any hotel in india without a wifi in today's scenario.

2) Zero covid precautions taken , not even a hand wash kept in the room. 

3) Hospitality of the staff is something which is unbearable. They feel as if this place is a five star hotel. And they really have no idea how to even speak to a customer or guest.

4) Kitchen not available. 

5) No toiletries provided , even the bucket in the bathroom is of the 1950's.

6) it's just that there is this beach ahead of them barring that everything just remembles a lodge.

7) And after all this they charge you Rs 3600/- , however the so called resort ( which they call themselves) is not even worth Rs 1500/-.

Pathetic 

Had a lovely time. Host was very cordial and always helpful. Situated bang on the beach, it's sea facing rooms are are worth every penny charged, 
Services were wonderful and the staff very helpful and cordial. You just had to ask for something and it would be made available
Had a great time at murud with my family...
I strongly recommend this place to stay..

Great stay at sea shell resort

Great location, at the beginning of the town. Quiet, and right opposite to the beach. You can see the beach from your window. 
Rooms are clean, nothing fancy, but well maintained and comfortable. We encountered a lot of mosquitoes on day one, but nothing a fast card can't cure.
The restaurant doesn't offer a lot of options, mostly breakfast food, but it is well made.
They have a well kept pool for a relaxing swim.
All in all, a good place to spend your next vacation.

Cheated.....

While biling out, the receiptionist fudged the bills ..the preorder of tea , coffee n milk that we gave..he added it in final order along with the delivery ..so basically we paid twice for order and upon confronting he was not ready to accept same..
Travellers please beware of this behavior..

Decent place but cheated

Positive
1.	Neat and clean room with good working window AC
2.	View of Sea from Room very good .
3.	Front beach is less crowded almost zero public  since this hotel is at starting point of murud beach from Mumbai/Panvel
4.	Decent Swimming Pool, Play area, Parking space  and indoor game
5.	Owner at front desk is very knowledgeable around the area and provided good assistance around near by place to visit.
Negative
1.	No restaurants means you have to drive/walk for .5 KM towards main beach for Launch/Dinner  & Drinks .(Tea is available as part of room service). 
Conclusion 
Overall my experience in this hotel was very good though struggled a bit for not having dinner in hotel but that’s OK.

Good family hotel in a calm place with sea view

Pretty Decent rooms, overlooked the beach and was at a pretty convenient location from the beach. Not too close to beach and rush road and nor too far. "Zaid" the Owner is very humble and  ensures his personal availability for all your concerns and requirements. The property is undergoing renovation as of 16th Feb 2019. Ample parking space, play area for kids and a decent clean pool. They dont have kitchen for Lunch and Dinner which you have to buy from other hotel, you can get breakfast though. This is the 1st Hotel as soon as you enter Murud and beach starts right opp so there is almost no crowd at this point. If you want me time or lonely time to ponder looking at waves Good place. Although if you want to have tea or need a place near water activity you will have to walk 15 mins on the beach to be at the center. You get towels and soap in room and also 1 bottle of packaged drinking water, No kettle is available in room, Since the hotel does not have 24X7 hot water the staff helps to get bucket of hot water even at late night if you need. Since I drove from Pune to Murud, Zaid also guided us on what routes to take and which to avoid. Just 1 more point we needed milk for my kid at 7 am and it was made available. So I guess that makes up for any other misses for me.

Good Hotel, Decent Location.

A boutique no-frills resort with great service, excellent and helpful staff! Was very pleasant peaceful stay at Murud. Would like to revisit this resort again! The beach is walkable just across the road about 100 meters! It is very near the market yet away from the commotion and crowds.

Great Location, great Service

I have visited Murud Janjira a lot of times as it my native. This is the first place which was luxurious, pocket friendly, sea facing, good food and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. If you are going to Murud then you should stay at this place.
