Olive de Villa - A Wandertrails Stay

Second time we've stayed here. Very friendly staff, very tranquil and relaxing place. Great swimming pool. Breakfast is a bit basic, and usually only Indian breakfast of idly's etc. It's also in a great area just outside Auroville itself and about 15 minutes by tuk-tuk to Pondicherry. There's even a cash point now pretty much next door, when there never used to be, plenty of places to eat and Jeffi - the best place to eat in the whole area - is only a few doors down. Great value for money.

It is located near some of Pondy’s amazing cafes. The ambience and maintenance is excellent. The rooms are well kept and spacious. They have an amazing pool too. The check-in process was very simple unlike many other places! Would definitely recommend.

Olive de Villa is one of the must stays at Auroville with swimming pool, great food and good hospitality. They have rooms to suit any family size.
They also take the necessary Covid-19 measures and is a safe place to stay :)

We are stayed in villa 8 of us in last weekend. it's really  worth to stay. Wonderful experience nice swimming pool and good housekeeping staffs. Well maintained resort  greenish garden neat and clean .

Myself Madhavan I had stay in olive de villa crown suite. Really awesome stay. I would recommend  to everyone of us to stay in this property . Good hospitality and staff coordination was so good. Well maintained  swimming pool. Breakfast was served in garden area it was pleasant experience in morning time.

The location is quite convenient right on Auroville main road, close to Tanto Italian eatery, and a few other eateries and shops within another 800 mts. 
The premise feels spacious, with open (slightly muddy in the rains) parking available inside. 
We booked the ring-1 room, which was quite spacious with 2 double beds. The only issue with the room itself was lack of sufficient windows for sunlight. 
Breakfast is next to the pool and had decent variety with buffet consisting of 3-4 Indian dishes.
All in all, we had a comfortable stay.

The experience of my stay l was excellent. Everything functioned well and there were no problems. The pool was great and was very big and spacious. The food tasted amazing and service of the staff was great. I would suggest this hotel to anyone who wants to book a hotel in Auroville. Overall, it was a great place!

It was actually a great time staying in there. me and my friends enjoyed a lot. In fact, it was a nice place. although there were some bad parts of the stay but still I liked it. I just want them to say that they should clean their rooms before someone stays there.

One of the best resort , i ve hav ever stayed !!! The restaurant and the food was awesome ... The garden was so good and they even made plans to visit places in Auroville... Thanks for making this trip memorable ! ✨

Rooms are spacious enough for the family. We went as a tour of 20 people. Everyone enjoyed the pleasant stay and we spent lot of time in the swimming pool. Rooms were clean & tidy and swimming pool was also well maintained. Food is tasty and the Hotel employees were also very friendly and took care of us very well. Definitely our next stay in Pondy will be at Olive De Villa only.
