81 reviewsWell, don't expect a great view of valley. It's just a small confined view from the restaurant which also covers backyard of neighbouring houses and hotels. Hotel is almost 1KM from bus stand. Rooms are standard size and hot water is available 24/7. Food is south indian (buffet) but not lip smacking. The hotel has clubbed with a tour operator and divided different parts of kodaikanal into 5-6 tours. Prices are reasonable, but make sure you negotiate correctly. Way to hotel during night is scary as very few people are on road and almost no side lights on the road. Self drive bikes and car are available but a little bit expensive. Make use of your foot wherever possible Before starting from kodaikanal, do not stuff your tummy with lots of food. There are lots of hairpin bends and it will make you puke. People are nice and warm. Place is must visit for great landscapes and nature, temples and Tamil history. All locations are within drivable range of 30-45 mins. Happy Visiting!!
