amã Stays & Trails Villa Siolim, Goa

Just had a 9 day unforgettable stay at the Villa Goa, owned by Mark Bell, which is a magnificent property with 2 colonial villas (Villa Goa and the "smaller" Vila Jardim). We were a party of 6, so used both properties. First of all, the pictures of the place do not over promise (as it is usually the case), the place is even nicer. The décor is put together with a lot of thought and very fitting for this over 200 year old place. The Villa Goa is located in Assagao not far away from all the bustling action and within easy driving distance to the various beaches. It was always great to come back to this oasis of peace and quiet or stay an entire afternoon at the fantastic pool in a well maintained garden in the back of the property next to Villa Jardim. Mark was always very helpful and went out of his way to provide helpful tips or made Restaurant reservations even before we arrived and certainly during our stay. Staff is also available at the property which is an unusual extra bonus. Amar, Kalpesh and Steven are wonderful people, always helpful and Steven outperformed preparing us wonderful meals at the property for a very reasonable price (24 hours notice is naturally required since he buys everything fresh). This was so far the best holiday property I have ever stayed and I can't think of a nicer place in Goa. We can’t wait to return to this wonderful place at some point in the future and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place (5/5). Thank you very much for everything, Mark, Steven, Kalpesh, Amar.
