68 reviewsWe had booked six nights at Thanal during our three week tour of Kerala (Swedish fam with kids at 14,16). As things turned out we added two more nights after a not-so-nice stay in Kovalam. Thanal is one of those places you hesitate to review on line because you kind of like to keep it as a secret for closes friends... Stylish rooms and common areas with lots of light. Nice sea fronting balconies. Kind and service oriented staff. Situated in the heart of Varkala, your yoga place, restaurants and shopping is literally at your fingertips. At the back of the hotel is a nice massage treatment enjoyed by the whole family. Looking forward going back! Hopefully they will have availability;)
