If you are traveling to Jodhpur, this is the place to stay. The grounds are spectacular with peacocks, parrots and Banyan trees just to name a few things.  The Maharani suite (Room #6) was opulent and extremely comfortable.  This was our second visit to the palace and the hospitality was just as wonderful.  The restaurant offers both veg and non veg as well as continental.  The quality of the food was unsurpassed.  The pool was gorgeous.

Always stay at the Palace!

I can explain the Bal Samand Lake Palace in three words: refreshing, delicious, groovy! This property is a hidden gem in the city of Jodhpur and even if you don’t stay at the hotel, it’s rich splendour will enchant you to the core. Make sure that you have a bite at the Kebab Konner: their kebabs are meaty delights! This property also provides a horse riding facility and, believe me if you have the imagination, seeing my son and wife riding majestic Marwari horses was a sight to behold and certainly a treat to feast upon. Now listen carefully: if you do avail this facility, ask the groom to firstly take you to the stables, then the pleasure gardens and, if you have time, the amazing Peacock Fountain. Note to self: Try to get either Sultan or Samrat for riding. 
Alright, there are 26 garden view rooms, and our room no. 33 took us to another world and will made us feel that we have been a part of the Marawaris for generations. The bathroom was petite yet quaint. And don’t get me started on the staff: they were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
And before I forget, lemme talk about the lake. It’s pretty vast and a picturesque spot not to miss.
 So, do you want a memorable experience in the middle of Jodhpur with the royal family? Make your way to the WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace: it is history packed in a stay.

Property is very good,  excellent staff  behaviour,  well  managing staff is there .  highly  preferable property .

It was very pleasant stay at property, housekeeping services was very good staff was very nice mr Govind He is very cool and helps the guests in need. Will definitely come and stay here again when I visit jodhpur.

Stayed at the Maharani suite and the Regal suite both the rooms were huge very tastefully done up and the service by Vaibhav and Pratap made us feel like royalty.The view of the serene lake with a host of water birds every morning  from the room was the icing on the cake.The service right from our jeep driver who ferried us back and forth and gave us a tour of the huge property front desk and the men at the restaurant specially Motilal was amazing..keep up the good work.
The only area where improvement would be appreciated is the taste and quality both at breakfast and the kebab corner..do expect much higher  standards from an ITC managed hotel

An unforgettable experience

We recently booked a private dinner at the Bal Samand Lake palce for a date and it was the best date we've had thus far! The gardens at the Lake Palace are stunning - you forget that you are in Jodhpur because everything is green and luscious. The dinner facing the Bal Samand Lake was breathtaking on the balcony of the palace. The area was decorated in flowers and lanterns, and the food was amazing! The staff was so kind and we felt like royalty. Highly recommend, definitely a non-forgettable experience!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Balsamand Lake Palace and it was truly a luxurious experience. The palace, located on the picturesque Balsamand Lake, is surrounded by lush gardens and offers stunning views from every angle.

The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, with all the modern amenities you would expect from a five-star hotel. The staff were attentive and always went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable.

One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the palace's in-house restaurant, which served delicious traditional Rajasthani cuisine. The setting was beautiful, with the lake as a backdrop, and the food was truly scrumptious.

The palace also offers a variety of activities, including boat rides on the lake, yoga and spa treatments. We took a boat ride at sunset, which was a truly magical experience.

Overall, the Balsamand Lake Palace exceeded all of our expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. The palace is a true gem and a must-see in Jodhpur
