For me it was not good place.very dirty place,dirty room,dirty bedsheet,towel,Lenin.Bathroom was very dirty no light in wash room no hot water.

I know this is budget class but at least you need clean room with clean bedsheets.It was a big Disappointment.

people is nice there Salim and Aladin, this is only good thing there.

Dirty Place......

We stayed 3 days in the Nomad guesthouse. Location is perfect,  you are outside of the busy touristy area and you can walk to the fort in 10 minutes and the bus stop is 5 minutes away.  From the rooftop there is an amazing view of the Jaisalmer fort. Alex and Ali are very good hosts, we really enjoyed chatting to them and they help you with all the information you need.  They just moved back to the building, and the bathrooms are a little scruffy but this is all totally compensated by their helpfulness and the kind and relaxed atmosphere. They serve food on the rooftop. Excellent breakfast and after trying there curries we always ate their. We booked camel safari with them as well. We had 3 excellent and very kind guides, they took us a place where we did not meet any other tourists. We stayed out in the desert in a very calm area, they cooked us a very good dinner and we slept under the starlit sky, An experience we will always remember. Alex, Ali Sari, thanks for having us!

Lovely Stay

This was my third visit to Nomads and it was great to be back in the original building again. Such a friendly family place - good food, great owners, comfy rooms and a terrific rooftop restaurant with a spectacular view of the fort. Keep up the great work Alex and Aladin and hope to see you again soo!

Really good guest house. Hosts Alex and Aladin are really friendly and welcoming. They helped me out with local knowledge, sorted booking train tickets, and also provided a fabulous weekend break at their desert location. The rooms are clean and full of character, and their rooftop restaurant with views of the Fort was fab. Great stay.

Great

As a frequent traveller to Jaisalmer, I have to say that this is my favourite place to stay.  What the hotel lacks in ‘flash’ it more than makes up for in cosy, comfortable quirkiness.  The rooftop is a wonderful place to hang out, relax and enjoy the unobtrusive, but attentive, hospitality of the proprietors, Alex and Aladin, and their friendly, helpful staff.  For a really unusual interlude, I would recommend spending some additional days at their desert Eco Farm - a great experience of time out of the known.
