A very big resort with scenic view, rooms are very big in size and equipped with almost all aminities.  Food is served with 😊. One thing that I like most is that rooms are quite far away from each other which is giving us complete privacy.

Excellent stay

Surrounded with lush green beauty, on top of the mountain and feel of Kalagadh and Jim Corbet national park, it’s completely peaceful place to be for some days.
We really enjoyed our stay. Food is amazing, Mr frank is a good host with lot of talent(singing, anchor & conduct activities). Rawat sir.. we truly enjoyed your piano talent.
Early in the morning 4 am i woke up with sound of deer grazing near our balcony, it was such a mesmerising experience.
For me driving  experience from Dugadha to resort was really adventurous. You would really pass through dense forest  and it’s truly enjoyable as its kind of USP of this resort. resort has really nice pool. there is a waterfall nearby which is truly a treasure not to miss.

A perfect weekend gateway

he tranquil and lush green resort is nestled amidst deep forests and provides panoramic views of the gorgeous mountains from its beautiful cottages. We were here for three nights over the Diwali weekend and enjoyed our time here, unwinding in the lap of nature and enjoying the delicious food and the service of the staff members.

The property stands out for several reasons but what we found laudable is its model of sustainable development in an area that is pretty remote and sparsely populated. Its owner Satender Rawat, whom we had the pleasure of meeting, has thoughtfully enriched the beauty of the place by planting a wide variety of species of plants and trees. The landscaping has been done meticulously to retain the original character of the hill. He has created employment opportunities for the locals and used his creativity to build this beautiful place over the last fifteen years. 

The crisp air is accentuated by the sense of wilderness that constantly errs over the place, which I found exciting. There is a beautiful swimming pool, a well-stocked library and plenty of areas to stroll around. Every corner offers fantastic views of the mountains.

The staff is soft-spoken, prompt, and caring. Mr Rawat also played the piano for us, which we thought was sweet, and we appreciated his passion for nature, life, and music. We also drove down to a beautiful waterfall nearby. A piece of advice: do not forget to bring your towels and swimsuit when you visit. 

We would like to thank every member of the staff for making our Diwali holidays so relaxing.

Tranquil resort mist deep forests and mountains

If you are looking for a quite and serene place to get away from the hustle bustle of the city , this is the place for you. Beautiful location and equally beautiful property gives you an amazing experience to cherish. The resort is spread over a large area, with good accomodation and other recreational facilities. The live music by Mr Rajesh Frank in the evening is enthralling and the magic show by Mr Rajendra is what the children can look forward to and enjoy. These people are gems of Vanvasa. The staff is very good with special mention to the chefs at the place. We enjoyed our stay at the resort and look forward to another visit very soon.  It is a paradise for nature lovers.

If you are lover of spending time with yourself amongst quite scenic beauty and want to be at peace then Vanvasa Resort is certainly a stop experience.Icing on the cake is you are away from the idiot box and one can feel sanctity during early morning and evening time.Food quality is very simple but good to savour and relish.My mode of commutation was kotdwar railway station and then via taxi and I enjoyed the travel experience.The rooms are spacious and huge and the hospitality is A star.
During the daytime its hot so you have ample time spending with your family and friends.Wish you best trip always!!!

Among the best adventures  places  in uttarakhand. 
Location  was awesome.  Food was very tasty  and staff was very friendly. Swimming  pool  was very  neat and  clean.If you are looking for some peaceful vacation  out of city and pollution you can stay here.

Finally planned for a 3 night stay in May of 2022 with my family. 

I was pleasantly surprised and in awe (for the second time) of this huge resort, that has been built and maintained painstakingly by the staff, in such a remote area in the hills. 

The rooms or cottages are huge and spacious. The large windows on 2 walls bring the beauty of the beautiful surroundings inside your room, right to your bed. An extra person can easily stay in the room on the sofa cum bed. The balcony sit outs and rooms have chairs and tables from where me and my daughters enjoyed the scenery around, sipping endless cups of tea and coffee while reading our books. 

The food is yummilicious. Depending on the volume of guests the restaurant either dishes a-la-carte (with huge portion sizes) or buffet with lots of variety. They have a room service menu also. The evenings are made even more enjoyable with magic show for kids and live music. You can play badminton, table tennis (racquets provided in house), have a dip in the swimming pool or sit on the swings.

I was lucky to spot some wildlife around the resort including a small deer, a chitrola, many langurs and variety of birds. They can arrange a walk to the nearby village (which we enjoyed) or small treks in the surrounding hills. The entire staff is courteous and very polite.

In all it was a very enjoyable stay again at Vanvasa. I will want to come here again and again, for the unforgettable experience this place offers.



An unforgettable experience, again

If you want to cut off from the city madness and just rejuvenate in the beautiful forests of uttarakhand, this is the place to be. Find your inner peace and some yummy local food made of local ingredients at this resort. Perfect place for families, especially with kids.

In the middle of forest, a hidden gem

Vanvasa….. what a property… Simply Awesome.. if you are looking for a peaceful place Vanvasa should be final destination without say....
Rooms... sorry not room…these are big halls so much space and great balcony view of valley. Rooms & Washrooms were clean. Every person of their team is hard working, courteous and super helpful. Evenings were simply super with live Magic & live Music performances. Kids enjoyed swimming pool and other sports activities available in resort.
We were treated as Family members & not a guest..Thanks team Vanvasa for arranging such a beautiful holiday…Must visit Property. Will come again for sure…. All the Best Team Vanvasa.
