Very bed experience. We had had residential conference this hotel. Once we fixed price they charged extra. Not hotel down staff issues but one of the person Mr.sagar he is not given proper information to hotel staff.very aggressive person not like hotelier.pls don’t book this hotel by Mr. Sagar.he doesn’t have manners how to talk with guest . I am still shocked who gave him sales manager post.very bed person.

Very bed experience

The apartment was FULL of baby cockroaches, filthy toilet, dirty bathroom floor and grubby sheets. We arrived back about 12:30am to find the corridor littered with dirty trays of food……marvellous for the cockroaches! Literally no standard at all.

The hotel  is overpriced.Booked super deluxe for 2 days with b/f  at 9K per night. Breakfast quality was substandard.room & toilet were pathetic.Front desk asked for balance payout before room allocation.Look for better options in North Goa.

POOR QUALITY ROOM ANSLD OVERPRICED 

Dirty bedsheets, lots of cockroaches and insects, AC not working. Not at all good experience, not worth your money, the way it looks like in pictures it's not like that very shady place. I feel so cheated after booking it for 4 days and it's our 1st day all money wasted 

Not good experience 

I had wonderful gateway with wife and son in Goa at this resort.
The place is amazing with large size rooms with huge balconies for partying.
The pool is big, clean and well maintained.

Location is great as it's within vicinity of Goa famous tourist spot.

Service was impeccable by all staff.
Manish,Sunita ,Deepa and all team is just one call away for your help.

Just few suggestions-
Wifi need to be improved and there should before variety for breakfast.

Suite room hotel with top notch service....!!

It was a pleasant stay in Ginger tree govien hotel. All staff are very helpful and kind. I specially like the service of Mr. Siddhu. The way Mr. Siddhu treat the guest is just amazing and overwhelming. The food was nice. Thanks to cook Mr. Tapan. Overall it was a nice stay there. Looking forward to come again.

Goa visit

There were many happy-sounding domestic guests,  especially young and extended families and what seemed school and office groups, during our visit.  The whole time in Goa we stayed mostly near Gingertree Goveia Suites and along Anna Vaddo,  Fort Aguada Road, Candolim Beach Road and alleyways or footpaths in Candolim. 

Few unpadded sun loungers and no umbrellas were at the well-used, fairly small, 4.5-foot deep Gingertree Goveia Suites pool.  Indented patterns in the poolside tiles collected dirt and debris particularly well.  Eating, drinking and smoking were common at the pool.  Posted rules (especially those about glass containers, diving, and appropriate swimwear) were only sometimes followed.  Additional guidance about pool capacity, horseplay and smoking at the pool would have been helpful to some guests.  Pool water definitely lacked clarity and cleanliness on some days.  Pool occupants were mostly (sometimes unattended) kids on several days.   We saw no staff monitoring activities at the pool.  It was mainly used as a plunge pool or to play so that there were few opportunities for any swimming. 

Hotel menu was traditional Indian with ~4-5 cooked breakfast offerings, sometimes yogurt, plus tea and fresh fruit (pineapple and watermelon).  Sometimes poolside omelette cooking was offered.  Lots more options were listed on the menu for room or dining room service. 

The beach was located about a kilometer walk away (heading mostly West) along Anna Vaddo, alleyways and paths.  The beach shacks between Bayview and Sams Paradise were the nearest, most easily accessible shacks by foot.  Those near Tomato’s, Sandbox, and Boat Shack looked to be the easiest to access by vehicle. 

Closest large food store was Lawande supermarket - not as comprehensive as Newtons, but quite adequate. 
Shortcut footpaths/alleyways to Lawande’s and to Novotel’s Food Exchange restaurant avoided the heavily trafficked Fort Aguada Road. 

Housekeeping with fresh towels, bed making, floor sweeping and trash collection was most days; bed linen was changed about every other day.   No washbasin, sink or shower cleaning.  Housekeepers undoubtedly had a challenging job during the current pandemic.  Gardener(s) did a commendable job of keeping greenery watered, liter-free and tidy. 

When bands played in the dining area(some weekends) performances reverberated loudly into upstairs rooms.  That happened several evenings during our stay. 

In-room safe and a shower curtain (to attach to the existing rod and hangers) would have been welcome extras in the executive suite.   No credit cards were accepted. 

We’d visited a few Goa hotels on prior trips.  The staff at Gingertree Goveia were always very friendly, helpful, pleasant and courteous.  WiFi, TV, a/c and electricity only went out rarely.  However for a hotel advertised as a 3-star spot, this one rated about 2 stars during our stay.  After experiencing Western pandemic protocols, the ones here were quite mild.

Very popular venue for domestic tourism

worst place to stay. very old property with zero maintenance and zero staff. pictures are just to misguide you. don't spoil your holidays by booking this hotel. Food,staff,room,bed everything is pathetic.

Worst stay in ginger tree, candolim

The stay was awesome and  a nice place to spend ur holiday. The staff was very kind n helpful. Sorry for earlier giving one star as it was given by mistake.It has a very clean pool.the place is very close to sinq club .Plus a lot of activities r there like pool table play area for the kids. The food was very nice n delicious

We have stayed in ginger tree hotel three times and we felt very comfortable very courteous staff specially in service department and security  food is also nice and lite  and one more thing I would like to mention please provide hotel contact no so that guest can contact hotel directly
