This place no longer has a lodge, I think.
 There is a restaurant by the famous Kamat brand that dishes out an average thali meal.  We went for lunch and had their special thali. The items didn't look fresh. Only the curd was tasty. There are two huge halls, one is Ac. Service is polite, the man from Bihar was good. There is no parking either. Only thing it is close to the busy Commercial street. No repeat value at all.

I booked the hotel to welcome my relatives stay for one of the family occasion. The hotel is situated in one of the famous location of Bangalore called Shivajinagar. The hotel staff is very helpful and respectful. To make the relative keep busy during free time there are various shopping stores, malls supermarkets and restaurants in and around.For pious people there is church, Temple and Masjid within 500m. The Area is safe place as we have police station and hospital nearby within 500m. If you feel hungry during mid night you could find eateries veg and non veg till 3am in area called Russel Market.
People from different location from Bangalore come to Shivajinagar for shopping. Nothing is as such that you will not find in this location.
Busstand is near to commute to different places. Famous places such as Cubbon Park, MG road, Fun World and many more are within 10km only. So what are you waiting for if you gonna visit Bangalore with your family, friends or business trip this is very much suitable. Hope my inputs will be helpful.

Relative Welcome Visit

This hotel is quite close to the commercial street shopping that's the only reason we have booked this hotel but to our dismay, this hotel is a filthy place. The public toilets would be much better than the one they have at the hotel. The rooms were stinking and so do the beds. There was pan spitting on the corner of the room. I would beg everyone not to book this hotel and if you do you will definitely regret. There are plenty of good hotels available near the commercial street and don't fall prey for this one.

I would give a rating in minus (-10) if the app allowed me to do so.

This hotel is a complete mess.

The hotel is situated very close to commercial streets and it provides free parking. Staffs are very courteous. The free breakfast  is good. But the cleanliness is pathetic. Toilets looks filthy and old. The sewage water is the toilet stagnates. This hotel has lift service and no WiFi available. Cleaning is the big issue in this hotel.Hotel Tip: Hot water available from 8 am only.

After a lot of traffic, finally reached this hotel, the look is the same after all these years,  the decor is acceptable and has a laid back charm from the eighties. 

Ordered masala dosa, quick service, the dosa was faboulous - crispy, warm and filling, just as it should be. The sambar was amazing - sweet, spicy and hot. Ordered take away too, which was packaged well. The price was acceptable. 

Time spent in travelling was worth it. Will strongly recommend.

Located near commerical street. Hotel is decent if you want to stay long in bangalore this is a place. i dont think so they have internet. Food is good all local food is good if you wish to have northindian food please ignore this hotel


Ok to stay

Staff were not very helpful even though they spoke English. Internet was really poor and only worked in the second floor lounge area. Rooms were out dated and poor, bathroom was filthy, booked for two nights, ended up refunding one as I need to get out from there.
