Set in natural sorroundings, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort. Hospitality at its best. Thanks to Mr. Sudheesh and Mahesh. Very friendly and accomodating. Rooms were very comfortable and well.kept cottage. Great Food. Watch out for a brief stretch of very bad approach road to the resort.

The resort is not very far from Masinagudi town and can be easily reached following the google map. The approach Road is narrow but easily drivable in SUV. The place is calm and peaceful surrounded by scenic misty mountains and lush greenery. Nothing much to do other than enjoying nature, but if relaxation is your main purpose then this place is good. Food is good and so is service. Owner Sudeesh is also helpful and ready to help out with any requests or requirements that one may have. We stayed in gold view room and it had a very nice view of both forest and mountains. A bubbly small stream flows inside the resort and we could hear its soothing sound, a rhyme to the hard hit city ears. Morning we saw herds of dear near the cottages from the balcony. As it’s monsoon everything was just coated in green really a treat to the eyes.

The cabins were spacious and spotlessly clean.  The staff were very protective of our safety and accompanied us between buildings.  The three course evening buffet was excellent value.  The jeep Safari in the afternoon allowed us to see many animals but alas the tigers eluded us.

Location is awesome but a bit difficult to reach because of road conditions. Morning view is worth watching mountain on one side and amidst of forest with wild deer. Rooms are clean and well maintained. only issue is with insects around and in room as the place is inside forest i would not suggest for kids.

We just had a 2 nights stay in this place. Ours was a bungalow as we were a big group and we wanted to be together. Compared to cottages this was away from the thick bamboo forests in this property and so we missed that closeness. Still this whole property is right in the valley of the mountain and thick forests and those who love nature and wild animals this is a good choice. We could hear the elephant trumpet which was really exciting. We were told that an elephant visited this resorts the prev night but we could not spot. Deer come in the morning near the other cottages. There are not too many activities to do in this place but to enjoy nature. Resort also has pet dogs, ducks, turkey, fish etc which can excite kids. There is also enough place to play badminton, basket ball, volley ball and also swings. There is a stream which flows through this property but it was dried up. Must be really a great experience after the monsoon. We were lucky to see fresh green leaves as it rained a week ago but otherwise this is a hottest time of the year in masinagudi.
We took local jeep for our safari to Moyar river and  Singara estate. We could spot a herd of 10 wild elephants crossing the road. But the best part was a face to face encounter with a tusker who was equally scared seeing us as he wanted to cross the road. It just was awesome. Saw lot of birds, peacocks, deer and langurs. Earlier on the way through Bandipur Ootty route we spotted lot of these, elephants, bison, wild boar and monitor lizard. Second day was too hot and so we decided to stay indoor till lunch. 
Resort gives complimentary breakfast which was very good and filling. Lunch and dinner we took from outside town where we get good homely food from locals. Morning tea/coffee is also provided and after that going a walk around the cottages is a good experience.It rained in the night which made the third morning a real good experience with extremely good weather.
Bed linens could be much cleaner. Toilets were very clean.Teh common dining area also very neatly maintained.

GOOD SIDE : I liked the location. All I could hear was the birds. Sudheesh and Mahesh whom I interacted with are awesome and an asset to this resort. The chef whom I didn't meet made excellent food. Food was made to order and no Buffet as we were the only ones. The staff is doing an excellent job with what they have.
DISLIKED · NOTE TO THE OWNERS: The approach the road is very bad.  There is a slightly steep climb which was an issue my car the Baleno was slipping. The resort is very badly maintained. The 2 bedroom Villa we stayed was huge. There are no basic Toiletries also. The gas stove is leaking Gas and it's dangerous, a disaster waiting to happen. I was lucky to notice it when we wanted to use it to heat some food. The microwave is very old and rattles when using to heat milk. The entire resort looks very neglected. the Basket ball court is in a dilapidated state.. There are absolutely no amenities. Food came to the room so no idea of the Wifi. There is good Data coverage. Food is made to order. There is no menu card for you to choose from.  Payment is google pay or phone Pe or bank transfer. They do not accept Credit cards or any cards. if you use AC they charge RS 950 Per day. even if the power goes off.  The owners of the resort have such a beautiful place but totally neglected. I sincerely hope that the if the owners see this message and take action. Give yourself a place that you and your customers are proud off. WILL I GO THERE AGAIN? NO. Not the way it is now.

If you say Space, quiet and remote is Luxury!! then go here. IF NOT DO NOT.

 We had a long trip from Vellore to this place. We reached at night. Crossing Mudhumalai Forest was very thrilling. First of all the resort is very far and having a very terrible approach road.It is not recommend for families with small kids. Food was average only. The room locks were not good. We got an information from  resort staff that Elephants and wild animals may roam during night hours. However we have not  seen any safety precautions there. Also there were no telephone lines to the reception in case of an emergency. Recommended for Adventure travellers.
