Stayed there for a night after a long journey and it was a perfect stay by all means. They took care of everything and made our stay pleasant and memorable. We will recommend this hotel to everyone, they also had some delicious Kerala food for the breakfast.

Best hotel along the highway in Chalakudy

Our stay at clay house was wonderful and it was made memorable by the hospitality of the staff. Clean and comfortable rooms and well-kept surroundings. We enjoyed our stay and also the delicious food provided by them.

Enjoyed our stay

We had a great time staying at clay house. The rooms were really good and the staff behavior was also great. We had free breakfast in the morning which was really tasty. Overall we enjoyed the stay and the place.

Neat and Tidy Place

Nice hotel on the highway for stopover and relax, rooms are clean and spacious. Food is really nice and delicious. Hotel ambience is really nice and more green. Their lawn is nice. Staffs are very professional and approachable.. Overall we had a comfortable stay here.

Comfortable stay

Visit the place if you really want to experience the worst service.  Property is good.  
 Our business meet was made bad because of there service.  Go there if you have no value for money and time

Worst service 

Very rude and crude lady sales executive based at corporate office. She needs a lesson or two on hospitality. 

Otherwise hotel manager and personnel very helpful and friendly. Ideal location for us midway to Thrissur and Kochi. 

Have been regular visitors to this hotel for the last few years.

RUDE AND CRUDE LADY SALES STAFF

Located on the Chalakudy highway, this was one of the good places when i went in last time. But now i rate it as one of the worst, basically based on the cleanliness of the staff. The staff dress spoke about the hygiene in the place and the way they cook and serve. The food is average, though the service was fast. The place retains ample parking and good rest rooms and can be made one of the best in the area if brought back to its old glory of a neat and clean place serving affordable food. The place is loosing its sheen for want to maintenance.

Gone from being the best to the worst

Very much an average hotel. Rooms were excellent but the hotel could improve on fresh table clothes, air condition extended to the bathroom & block insects coming through and a speedy check-in service,

Family holiday

I am not sure if the waiters don't realise if their job involves atleast providing a menu card, forget being served nicely. The Manager was nowhere to be found. We waited for almost 20 minutes to get hold of a menu card, all the waiters just avoided eye contact. Finally we received the menu card after multiple requests and yet again they never bothered to take the order inspite of waiting for another 20minutes. We kept waving at them but none of them bothered. They seemed so damn clueless that all of them kept running back inside the kitchen. I noticed people who placed their order when we arrived had not got the food on their table till then. Although we were very hungry after a long drive, it didn't seem worth waiting for another minute and we left. People expect the restaurants by the highway to be quick in their service. This place is just plain unprofessional. Don't visit unless you have a whole day for a meal.
