Ocean Comfort Apartments

After 13 days of photography around a very rainy Iceland, we were finally glad to book into a place and relax for a few days with a washing machine! Reception is not manned so, we had some initial troubles around timing with the nice guy who manages bookings. A short stroll around the harbour and a look in the brilliant library we were escorted upstairs and shown the apartment. The chap was very courteous, showed us how everythings works and they even supply a mobile phone for local calls with a list of numbers (restarants, cabs etc.). To say the aprtment is big is an understatement. Lots of storage, big kitchen, sizeable dining table and a very nice bathroom. Our apartment overlooked the harbour and the bedroom had a comfy chair with floor to ceiling glass to read a book in. It's close to most of the sites and the great restaurants of Reykeflavik and would very highly recommend it. I could buy a place here and retreat every year for a couple of weeks :)
