Solo female traveler. Older gentlemen towns and runs. 5 bedroom guesthouse, not many stay more than a night (I stayed 6) one night had the whole thing to myself. Easily assessable to downtown Reykjavík (15 min drive) & 35 min from Keflavik. I flew in at 5am and he let me check in at 8, only because there was rooms available, I would see if you could contact them prior to make those arrangements, I was fortunate enough. Shared kitchen and 1.5 baths. Perfect for low key travels as myself.
