This hotel is on the campus of the University of Miskolc. Perhaps the first comment to make is that the campus is like a park and delightful to stroll round. We were on the fifth floor of the hotel which is the up-market part. We had what amounts to a small flat with separate bedroom, lounge, bathroom, kitchen. The TV is old fashioned and only produced Hungarian channels. The kitchen has pots, pans, a cooker, a toaster but no kettle. No tea/coffee or biscuits were supplied. There is, however, a Lidl Supermarket only 5 minutes walk away. The hotel is quite some way from the city centre but there is a bus service. The hotel has a cafe which serves breakfast Monday to Friday but not at the weekends. It is quite good but only has ham and eggs type dishes and no cereals.

Good cheap accommodation

The staff is friendly and the service is fair. The rooms and the bathrooms are poor. Clean, but poor. The beds are not convenient or comfortable. 
The buffet is okay and the prices are more than friendly.
The place is near the end of the World. :-D
