Rooms are very run down, we changed room halfway through out stay, 107 electricity cables and plug sockets were dangerous. Falling off the wall and visible. Kitchenette, clean and functioning. 

Room 103 larger, but damp also had ants living under the shower base. 

The rooms were clean and maria and toto were lovely  the pool is nice, although pool and bar shut at half 6. But youre a stones throw from the beach and a shop and many bars. 

Directly behind the apartments is a quad track and kids inflatable park its very noisy until quite late. 



Average 

Having spent 7 days in the hotel. For that price it was a decent choice. The garden is very  unique, cosy and last but not least, very Greek. As it was mentioned before, the cleaning is not regular, very mutable. The bathroom and self caring facilities could be better. The staff were friendly on the first day, after not really. All in all I liked the balcony, beds were comfortable enough for sleep. I'd like to emphasize that the pool and closeness of the beach are great aspects.

Nice welcome from toto and Maria room 207 was very clean yes was basic but towels n sheets changed regular , pool area fantastic never to busy and plenty sunbeds go round .Pool bar serves drinks and snacks at very good prices small water 50 cents soft drinks 2-50 beers 3 euros very good value , the location is fantastic just near bars n restaurants and beach , the sockets in the apartments need sorting out as we had trouble charging our phones up with a little tlc be lot better .Air con n safe 100 euros for 2 weeks no complaints there very quiet on a night after nightmare holiday in the alamis in June we were happy have peace n quiet x would I go back yes if got cheap deal x

For what we paid can’t complain 

We stayed here in room 108 for 2 weeks and had a lovely time, we had read reviews beforehand and were a bit concerned but thought we would make our own minds up, the rooms were clean and tidy had towels and bedding changed every couple of days, shower and toilets were a bit small but that wasn’t a problem the apartments are in a great quiet location close to the beach and just a walk up the road you were on the main strip with bars and restaurants, just over the road was a lovely pool and bar we would definitely stay here again and we found the couple who ran it very friendly and Helpful

We had reservations going by previous reviews. But we had nothing to worry about. Two sisters in our 40's booked for 1 week in room 106. Very clean and pleasant. We were greeted by the owner who was pleasant enough. His English was a little limited but we managed okay. Maria his wife was lovely. Pool bar open 9 till 6 drinks and snacks. The pool area is great if you want peace and quiet but the beach is only a 5 minute walk away for a more more livlier scene. Try it for yourself guys. We had a bargain stay and was fab from beginning to end. Oh and there is a frying pan! 😁

Don't be put off.

Stated average but really should only be 2 star rated at best.
Arrived around lunchtime and quickly checked in and taken to room 203. Before we'd even time to start unpacking were then moved to room 202 - don't know why but no problem.
Have to agree that as one reviews said " not what it says on the tin " but:-
Pros:-
 Excellent location.  Beach, supermarkets, plenty bars/restaurants all within a few minutes walk.
Outside area and pool/bar all very nice and well kept. Only had drinks at the pool bar so can't comment on food but beers were E3.00 per bottle with a choice of Mythos, Alpha, Fix or Amstel. 
As Greek studios go these were really quite spacious and we had a decent sized balcony which caught the afternoon sun.
Beds were the box style ones and only about 18" from the floor but have to say we did find them quite comfortable.
Room consisted of kitchenette, shower room and sleeping/living area BUT here come the cons:-
Shower room is very small with only a hand held shower - well, you could hang it up but you'd need to be a total midget to be able to stand under it! no shower curtain so be prepared for water all over! No plug for the wash basin. However, have to say there was no shortage of hot water at all.
Kitchenette had 2 very rusty hot plates and it was guesswork as to what numbers on the dial were on/off. A mismatch of cutlery/crockery - 2 knives,4 forks,2 teaspoons, 2 dessert spoons, 1 "sharp" (not!) knife and a cake fork! and utensils consisted of 1 ladle and a wooden spoon. 1 large saucepan, 1 small milkpan and a frying pan. An electric kettle is provided but no plug socket in kitchen to use it - two sockets in the kitchen which were taken up by the cooker & fridge and in such poor condition we wouldn't have dared to try to unplug either of them. Only two other plug sockets in the apartment - one over the bed and one (which was hanging loose!) by the patio doors. It was hit n miss as to whether or not any water came out of the kitchen taps and no sink plugs. Fridge was ok and clean but had no freezer door.
Living/sleeping area had wardrobe with one drawer. 2 bedside tables each with one drawer and wall mirror with shelf below plus a small coffee table. Overall the furnishings were ok but there is a distinct lack of storage space. Also there were quite a few badly cracked floor tiles.
The owners here don't appear to employ any staff and do all the work themselves with him mainly running the pool bar and her doing everything else! Cleaning was to the minimum but we did get 3 towel changes and a linen change over the week.
This was a very last minute booking for us and for the price we paid shouldn't really complain but should we visit Zante again will choose alternative accommodation but definitely in the same location. It's a shame really because with just a little TLC these could be really nice apartments.

Pros and Cons

Thinking of staying at the Odysseas Studios? Save yourself an awful lot of time, trouble and money and find somewhere else. This must be the direst of accommodation and was probably the worst supposedly “self-catering” studio that we had stayed in all of the 25 years we have been holidaying in Greece.
We say supposedly “self-catering” as we were only provided with one huge pan as well as one of those tiny things for boiling up a quick coffee, no ladles, spatulas and very little cutlery, so we ate out all the time, making our “holiday” quite a lot more expensive than planned.
As an example of self catering: we had decided to boil some eggs for breakfast, this (in their huge and only pan) took over one hour to come to the boil. Needless to say we had boiled eggs for lunch instead.
To complement the lack of decent self-catering the studio also provided us with a double bed strangely attached to bunk beds, designed in such a way that two people could not easily get in and out of the double bed. 
Anyway it made no odds as the bed was so low and appeared to be made of slate, that I strained his back on the first night and spent the rest of the “holiday” having to sleep in the bunk bed.
The shower room was also a nightmare as there was no shower curtain, water simply went everywhere (one had to be careful to place the toilet roll in the little cupboard provided). The shower base looked as if it had once been ripped and then badly re-installed. Needless to say the floor got soaked every time one showered, so there was always the potential danger of slipping. 
Also the shower room tap was a spray type, which meant, unless you were very careful, that each time you washed your hands you also soaked your crotch into the bargain.
There was a “fridge”, (which didn’t refrigerate) but the rusting old thing did make a lot of noise, especially in the night. One of it’s’ renditions was to make a scratching noise which sounded just like there was small child stuck inside trying to get out. (At least we were sure that the small child couldn’t have frozen to death).
To top it all there were ants everywhere in the place, hundreds of them, on the “kitchen” work-surfaces, in the shower room (coming up through the drain) all over the studio floor and worse still crawling up onto the beds and bedding. 
You had to kill around 20 or so ants simply to make a coffee, it was horrible. We did buy a can of ant spray, which we used very liberally throughout the place but it had hardly any effect.
Also the cleaning of this studio was very poor, we were lucky if the place was “cleaned” and bins emptied every two day or so. 
The Fun Fair located next door was not too noisy at night time and hardly bothered us much (probably as it was nearing the end of the season), however the building works opposite kept up a constant high level of noise commencing around 9.00 a.m. not ceasing until around 7.00 p.m.
These Odysseas Studios were we stayed was classed by Olympic Holidays with their equivalent of a three star accommodation. This was probably fairly accurate when the place was first built but that must have several decades ago. Since then the place must never have seen much in the way of repair, updating or even basic maintenance.
Naturally after the first night we complained to the Athena (the Olympic Rep) who appeared very helpful and took detailed notes having visited our studio, in order to assist our complaint. 
She informed us that she had received a significant number of complaints from her Olympic guests staying at the placer. However, as the owner did not live on the island, they either did not respond to requests from this travel company, or basically couldn’t be bothered.
Toto & Maria, the Bulgarian couple that “managed” the property were hardly helpful (Toto could hold master-classes in surliness) and anyway we assumed that they were only employed there because they were paid a pittance by the “absentee owner”. Needless to say their grasp of the English language was minimal.
We made a formal complaint to Olympic Travel upon our return home and eventually received an inadequate stock reply with an offer of £60 in Olympic Travel Vouchers, as we were unlikely to travel with Olympic Travel again; we returned these as a hardly worthwhile compensation. This offer was amended to an offer of a cheque payment for £30. Needless to say this was not acceptable.
