Nestled amongst the olive trees, down a long windy road, you approach Cielo Villas and its most charming driveway. Villa Irini in front of you, other villas to the left, and the family villa on the right. Situated a very short drive from the old town and airport, this is the most idyllic location.

We park up outside Villa Irini and walk in with our 2yo and 3yo. Understated luxury gives the villa its charm and homely feel. You know you have chosen well when the children ask to go to bed! And who wouldn’t want to sleep in the most comfortable beds with feather down pillows. 

Nikos and Irini have an extremely good eye for detail. The villa and pool are immaculately presented and the stay is exceptional beyond words.

Would I come back? Without a doubt

Would I recommend to friends? Without a doubt, but through gritted teeth as in a selfish way I want to keep this as my hidden gem. 

All of Nikos and Irinis recommendations were as impressive as there villa….from restaurants to day trips…I wouldn’t change a thing x

Amazing vacation week in Zakinthos - family vacation

We had the chance to stay in a wonderful villa recently and I can't help but share the amazing experience we had.
We were eight adults and a 9 months baby, we stayed at villa Athina, biggest of the three villas owned by the host.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the charming couple Nikos & Irene, the owners, their exceptional hospitality really made our stay memorable.

The villa itself was simply stunning. Spacious, elegantly decorated and equipped with modern amenities, it offered all the necessary comfort for a perfect holiday. The bedrooms were luxurious and the beds very comfortable, ensuring a peaceful nights sleep. Everything was always kept tidy and neat, special thanks to « the little fairy » Lydia, coming everyday discret and very efficient. 

The highlight of our stay was definitely the private pool. Surrounded by the nice garden with magnificent olive trees it offered stunning views of the surroundings and we had many relaxing and fun times with the family. Additionally, the villa was ideally located, offering complete privacy while being close to local attractions.

Nikos & Irene were very helpful from the first day they give you full overview of what needs to be done/seen in the island and where to eat, recommending restaurants, or catering to our specific needs. Their attention to details and willingness to make our stay unforgettable was truly appreciated.

In summary, our stay in the villa was simply fantastic. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation experience. The friendly owners and staff,  peaceful atmosphere and top quality accommodation exceeded all of our expectations. We have created some treasured memories and look forward to returning soon!

Amazing vacation week in Zakinthos - family vacation

Carved into a century old olive grove sit 3 villas designed by Nikos and Irene. 
Walking up beautiful landscaped gardens, we stayed in Villa Irene, which was so spacious, and really well thought out. The teens took the top two bedrooms, and we took the very spacious downstairs room, complete with out door circular bath.

Nikos made sure that we had the best tables at every restaurant we wanted to go to. The villas are about 10/15 mins taxi from Zante town, where there are plenty of restaurants (N Avli, Jenkins Eatery, Paradosiako, Alistra- excellent Italian, and they deliver to your door.)  

Also there are some really lovely local restaurants to you can walk to to. We loved Taverna Akrotiri, where they serve locally made wine in copper carafes, and someone carries the entire starter menu to your table in a long glass box! Food was superb. Bassia restaurant also lovely, with views out to the sea.

Nikos showed us on a map where were good places to go, so on his recommendation we went cliff jumping, went to Noe beach club, hired a boat and driver who stopped off at many places for us to jump in the sea, caves, lunch, beaches etc.

Truly lovely holiday and we hope to return :)

Fabulous Holiday at Cielo Villas!

The most amazing place. Villas are exceptional high standard and design, spacious both inside and out and beautiful pools. On top of this is the wonderful personalised service that Nikos and Irini provide, a true 5 star luxury concierge approach, taking care of every detail and making our trip really special. We would without hesitation recommend and will most definitely be back. 

5 star luxury in a beautiful setting

I stayed at Villa Marietta with my husband and our friends for a week long holiday. The villas and the grounds they are set in are beautiful. Just as they seem in pictures. The villa (Marietta) also has a beautiful view of the ocean and olive trees. It is quiet and peaceful. We were able to spend a day just at the villa enjoying the garden and amenities (there is plenty of space for everyone and didn’t feel on top of one another). It is a great location where you can enjoy a quieter side to the island but still close to bars and restaurants  - not too far from the airport, a short drive to town and if you are able a short walk (around 30mins - though it is down a hill that is somewhat steep). Taxi fares and car hire are reasonably priced, so it is easy to get around. Irini and Nikos are fabulous hosts who were easy to contact during our stay for anything we needed. Their recommendations for things to do and places to eat are also excellent. Would highly recommend and we hope to come back in the future.

Great to unwind and relax in beautiful villa with friends

The most exquisite experience in a villa on Zakynthos you can find. We stayed for a week in the Athina villa of the Cielo Villas resort. Nikos and Irene have 3 villas available. Both will do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. 

The villa itself is luxurious, very stylishly furnished and well equipped. Everything is new or kept new (tidy and clean. thanks Linda!), including 4 modern and spacious bedrooms, echt with their own ensuite bathroom. The garden is well laid out and with full grown green and olive trees, a terrace with dining table, a nice view towards the sea and not to forget... a beautiful private pool, equipped with sunbeds and a new king-size lounge bed.

We can only comment on the villa we stayed, but the other two are as luxureous as well. We plan to return and enjoy another stay.

I'm sure I forget a lot, there is much more to say and to compliment about. Better you visit the website of Cielo Villas (cielovillas.gr) and view the gallery. The photos you'll find there give an excellent representation of the actual villas and the atmosphere you will encounter when visiting.

The most exquisite experience on Zakynthos you can find

What a joyous vacation we have the good fortune to have had. A weeks stay in one of Cielo Luxury Villas was hands down, the best family time we have experienced. The hospitality extended from Nikos and Irini to us was second to none. As other reviews have said, Nikos will make reservations at the best restaurants, best tables, best sun loungers on the beach, the best of everything! The cleaners came in daily and the place was spotless both inside and out. The villa has everything and more you could possibly desire, and upon arrival the fridge was stocked with fresh fruit (including the best figs I've tasted!) ,water, and a large bottle or wine - whats not to like?!
The villas are set within a very mature olive grove and a more peaceful setting you'd be hard pushed to find. We made the most of every day on this beautiful island of Zakinthos and I know this was aided by both Nikos and his wives kindness. We will absolutely return! The Laslett family.

EXCEPTIONAL! Family of 6 very happy people!

We have just returned from a 10 nights stay at Cielo Luxury Villas. We were a party of 10; 2 families travelling with 6 teenagers and we took Villas Marietta and Athina. We have been very fortunate to have taken many holidays in many countries and this holiday really stands out. We have never visited Zakynthos but we will definitely return. The villas are beautiful and in a great location with stunning views and close to Zakynthos town with the port and all it’s amenities. Nikos and Irini were exceptional hosts; nothing was too much trouble. Nikos arranged for us the best tables in the best restaurants, front line sun beds at beaches, a truly amazing day out on a fantastic yacht, dinners in the villa with a private chef, takeaway lunches and dinners delivered to the villa, champagne, wine, literally everything you could ask for/desire… Irini made for us 2 beautiful lunches of salads, cheeses, meats, breads, all of which tasted as beautiful as they looked/were presented and it was a truly beautiful experience to sit with our friends and children sharing those lunches and chatting - teenagers don’t often want to spend time with their parents but they did when it came to those lunches at the villa! Nikos and Irini made everything so easy, it was seamless and the best concierge service ever - they are a fantastic team! If Carlsberg did villa holidays…! A truly memorable holiday! We will be back! Wonderful stay!

We stayed in Villa Marietta for 11 nights at the beginning of July with our two young boys and have had the best family holiday we have ever had!

The villa itself is beautifully furnished, with a wonderful pool, exceptionally comfortable beds, and is very well equipped in the kitchen but also bathrooms and indoor and outdoor living areas. 

The location was just perfect! We hired a car and so were able to access the island very easily. The villas are also only 5-10 minutes from Zakynthos Town, which was a lovely place to spend an evening with lots of great restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

Nikos our host was also amazing! Every single one of his recommendations for beaches to visit, restaurants to try or activities to do were 100% spot on! He is incredibly welcoming and no request or question was ever too much trouble.

We will definitely be returning again and would fully recommend these villas to anyone considering a holiday on the beautiful island of Zakynthos!

The BEST family holiday

We have become accustomed to staying in 5* luxury hotels globally, ranging from the Nobu hotels, Bulgari hotel, Six sense and many more; this was a last min trip booked for half term, and wow, it did not disappoint -

The Villa (s) are located in a quiet yet beautiful part of the island with breathtaking views and a warm crosswind from the sea. 

The Villa (s) are sublime, amazingly furnished and come with every mod-con you need, including full on-suites, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen and the very must-needed Netflix, Youtube and any other channel you may need to entertain little ones. There is also an outside BBQ area and a fantastic family pool.

The Host, I don't have the words to thank Nikos enough for welcoming us into his Villa (s); he's exceptionally well connected, knows every inch of the island and was on hand 24/7 (YES, I do mean 24/7)!!

Nikos helped arrange EVERYTHING, from restaurant bookings to recommending some of the best beaches and helping with yacht booking around the island.

Like many people (me included), I thought Zakynthos was an island for party animals fueled on cheap drinks and even cheaper food....Zakynthos is not Zante; Zakynthos is made up of 34 villages and is a gorgeous island with fantastic restaurants, beaches, and bars where you would happily take your family and friends.

We were so impressed with our stay and Nikos and his genuine ability to be caring, attentive and general willingness to please his guest that we have booked again for the same time next year and are bringing our friends with us!
