I've booked this for 3 nights, It was awesome as this is our first time to live in cave in fron of of the beach :) - Very Good value. I strongly recommend this hotel. Happy to stay here. Thank you All

DIFFERENT AMAZING EXPERIENCE

this is not a "5 star" hotel.  there are not endless amenities and you will not be wined and dined.  HOWEVER!  it is a really cute, no frills room for a reasonable price.  the view is absolutely priceless.  the roof/patios/whatever you want to call them are a great place to relax and take in the sites.  many neighborhood cats that will welcome you in, all friendly!  also donkeys pass by your room in the morning -- really cool to see.

this place has a lot of charm.  I stayed here last year and I was sitting outside talking on the phone and the woman working came and put a blanket around me because I looked cold!  How sweet!  GREAT STAFF!!!

They also can set you up on a tour of the island (extra fee) and of the volcano.

not a place to stay if you are looking for luxury, but a truly wonderful hotel with a great sense of belonging!

We cancelled our reservation too late because of a technical problem with booking.com. They filled all their rooms on the day in question (I tried to book again to verify this and it was full), but they still categorically refused to do the decent thing and refund us. A disgrace for Greece's tourist industry. Avoid at all costs.

Utterly dishonourable establishment

Having walked past this hotel, it is in a very good location overlooking the sea and nearby volcano.  It's just a shame I didn't get to stay here as my room was cancelled less then 24 hours after I booked it.
I booked to stay here as I had been messed about by another hotel and quickly booked to stay at Antithesis as the price was ideal considering the location and there were only two rooms left.  This booking was cancelled the next day with no explaination as to why.  Thinking it might have been an issue with my card I went to rebook with another card but the price had been put up to three times the amount I had booked at the day before.  I can only summise that the hotel felt the price I paid was not enough so cancelled my booking so they can charge even more.

Cancelled Booking and Tripled the Price

The view was great, but that was all that was. The rooms were awfull; extremely small, we could'nt breath during the day and especcially at night. We couldn't breath, so we couldn't sleep. We had to open the door of the room and keep it permanently open during the night so that we could sleep. Words cannot describe the state of the linen. Not really clean and always wet because of the dampness. There was an awfull smell inside the room. The room was so small, that we couldn't turn inside it and go to the bathroom without bumbing on the bed and the walls. The bathroom was a disaster; unclean, with very old-fashioned equipment and awfully small.
