We had a wonderful stay at Skamagkas
Apartments, hosted by Giorgos and his family.
They were incredibly warm and welcoming, and made us feel like very valued guests in their beautiful accommodation. They welcomed us with fresh fruit, biscuits (both vegan and non-vegan varieties - all very tasty!), and cold raki.
They also called by in subsequent days with additional treats. The location is very peaceful, within walking distance of the small shops in Stavros and the beaches with their bars and restaurants. Giorgos, his brother and his parents were always on hand to help with our queries and were very attentive to our needs. They had local recommendations and made us feel right at home during our stay. Thank you all for a wonderful time, and we hope to see you again one day!

Wonderful hosts, peaceful location

Very nice and big clean apartment. The owner and his parents are very helpfull and friendly. They made us feel like home! We loved it there! We had some great evenings with fresh fruit from the garden and Raki. If I could give 10 stars I would! Keep up the good work…

Excellent

I stayed in the skamagkas apartments on my own for a month as I was working from my laptop. It was the best experience and a great start to my life in Crete. The host George is so helpful and accommodating. His parents Yanis and Rita are so kind and generous. I can't count how many meals they surprised me with. They turned into family. The apartments are clean and surrounded by beautiful countryside! Stunning walks all around, the sky turns pink and orange at night. It's not far from the two beaches in stavros, both are beautiful and one has the most amazing sunsets. There are nice cafes nearby serving delicious food. I feel so lucky and blessed that I ended up in these apartments and would recommend them to anyone!

Amazing hosts great place to stay! Highly recommended

We arrived at 9:45 pm in the last 3 days of our trip and got the best welcoming from our Greek hosts: super tired from the long trip we found an amazing fresh fruit platter along with cookies homemade and raki.
The home is large and beautiful in a great location, close to the city of Chania, the airport and some beautiful beaches. 
Our host, George, helped us book the PCR for covid needed before our flight and, during the stay, every occasion they saw us they shared their food and sweets homemade. 
We definitely recommend this apartments because the value and quality are the best!!!!

Sweet Home in Peaceful Nature

We loved this place and most importantly we love the host!
It is a family business and George and his parents are very warm, hospitable and nice persons! Our son is in love with them and keeps asking when are we going back as he wants to live there forever. 
The apartments are very spacious, with big windows and balconies and a fully equiped kitchen. 
They offered us home made food and products from their own garden and everything was very tasty! 
Not only do we recommend this place but also can't wait to go back !

Beautiful place and best hospitality!

Simply amazing! Everything was perfect, thanks to Gheorgos and his lovely family! 
The appartment is few minutes from Stavros beach and other nice beaches, just half an hour by car from Chania. Skamagkas is located in the middle of typical greek country, everything is relaxing, confortable and clean!
So grateful for the hospitality... was like at home.
