My brother and I have just returned from Lindos, staying in Mary apartment. We were impressed by the size and quality of the apartment. The air conditioning was very effective. The cleaners came every day and the bedding and towels were changed twice a week. We certainly did not see cockroaches or even mosquitoes! It is perfectly situated for both St Paul's bay and the village centre. A wonderful bakery just at the bottom of the steps. We sat out on the steps at the front before going out in the evening and met lots of new friends passing by. All in all for the cost of the apartment it exceeded our expectations.

Excellent value budget accommodation

Stayed in this accommodation in June 17 with Olympic holidays.  I knew the property did not have air conditioning and was told as it is pretty high up you can leave the shutters open and a nice breeze comes in.  The shutters in one of the rooms were jammed shut and you could not open them so it was like a sweat box and you woke up drenched every morning.  The main bedroom had no shutters on the windows or curtains and the sun came up around half 5 and rose facing the room so it bright sun and hot!  Being woken up at half 5 on holiday is not fun.  There was a heatwave when we were there and we asked for fans and told they had run out.  The apartment was filthy and you could not walk bear foot in it as your feet were black!  The fan in the main bedroom did not work and an electrician was meant to come but never turned up.  I complained to Olympic who were not very helpful.  When I went back to Lindos, in August I stayed in different accommodation and saw shutters had been put back on outside the windows and was told air conditioning had been put in as well.  Which I think proves my complaint was valid.

Filthy, worst accomodation I have ever stayed in

I stayed at No. 3 for 5 weeks, for a ridiculously good price - air con included. 
When we arrived, Michael greeted us and made us feel welcome. We also met Mary, who was a pleasure to arrange the booking with, even over email. 

The room was well-lit, spacious and clean and a stones throw away from the town and the gorgeous St. Paul's bay with a breathtaking view of the Acropolis right on your doorstep. 

Unluckily, during the stay I had a few accidents, but Mary was very helpful and never harassed me for money. Yes, I did find three or four cockroaches during my stay, but you are going to find them anyway. 

The only negative points are that it is right opposite an Amphitheatre, where small children play from about 6-9 in the evening. They are very loud and usually have pushbikes. 

It is also situated right next to one of the two roads into Lindos, which means loud trucks, motorbikes and people, but it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Other than the prime times for deliveries and the children playing, it is a very quiet room.

- Close to beach
- Close to exit of Lindos, easy access to surrounding towns

Cons:
- Children, motorbikes and trucks

Great location and owner

I stayed at her with some friends of mine in June, and having stayed at other places nearby, this was definitely not the worst. Although it was extra for air conditioning and there were a few cockroaches, these were fairly normal around the area. For the price it cost, it was an enjoyable stay and i would definitely go back again.

Our holiday rep dumped us at the apartment, the apartment was dirty and on out second night we found cockroaches, this continued every night for the rest of our holiday. We were told that this was normal in Lindos, and that the cleaner would spray the apartment. The sheets were not changed never mind spraying the apartment. We went out and got our own spray and we still had cockroaches every night. On speaking to a local this is not normal. I have been going to Greece on holiday for 20 years and stayed in apartments as basic as these but have never stayed anywhere that was as dirty as this and the cockroaches are completely unacceptable.
