Excellent rooms, large swimming pool in site, laundry, kitchenette and refrigerator. Air conditioned. Lovely hostess, Maria, always there to help. Rooms are clean and all amenities are present. Wi-Fi is only on pool area but they are working on it for every room. 

Great place 

the place is very clean inside and out out side the plants are very nice the owners are doing a super job we had 2 weeks in june the place is near the sea and the place is a few mins walk to taxi bars shops and supermarkit the woman who cleans the rooms makes towel animals which is nice when you come to your room taxi into rethymnon is 10mis and 10 euros the place works on trust if you take anything you just put it down on paper  pay when you like

Me and my partner stayed here for one week. We arrived late by rental car and our host Maria left clear instructions on how to get into our apartment, this was great. Our room was facing the opposite side to the highway and was mostly quiet - looking over a field of peppers before the main road and further away was the sea (we couldn’t see it). Joanna made us our breakfast everyday and was great at providing recommendations and meeting our needs and we had a small electric cooker, fridge and cooking utensils to cook if we wanted to eat in. We were about 10-15 mins walk from the closest beach and loads of reasonably priced restaurants nearby. There was street parking to leave our rental car too. The hotel had two swimming pools and sun bathing areas although we didn’t need it - it looked fine. The only reason that we are not giving 5 stars is because of a mix up over whether breakfast was included or not, but aside from this we will have no problem coming back for our next visit to Greece. I’d also like to give a special mention to Maria’s husband who offered me any flowers in his garden for my proposal to my now fiancé - thank you!

Nice family run apart / hotel within 15min bus journey of Rethymno

Not a single bad comment ! The big rooms are very clean and up to date.
Breakfast is giant for a small price. We had no trouble at all during our stay and the hosts are very kind. The location is great too as you can easily travel towards Heraklion or Chania with a car.

They where very kind and helpful. You can ask them everything and they will do everything for you.
Every day they cleaned your room.

There is a busstop and taxistop nearby. And there is a lidl on the corner

Have stayed at the Marianthi almost 30 times over the last 14 years, always made very welcome. Rooms very comfortable and always very clean. Nice pool area and small bar, very close to all tavernas and only a few minutes to beach.

Great accommodation 

The Marianthi Apts provided us with a modern, immaculately clean, spacious living quarters with a narrow, but long, balcony providing a sea view with a separate area for line drying clothes. There is both a kiddie and adult pool that catch the sun most of the day. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful and Maria (a member of the host family) is one of the most gracious people we have met. The adherence to small details is what truly makes this THE place to stay in the Rethmynon area. Yes, there are beautiful garden flowers, a play area for children, a little bar but topping off the dish detergent and checking shampoo/soap each day during the cleaning/bed making does add another level. We found this to be a perfect location for our needs. Ten minutes from the old quarter by car, close to two large supermarkets, quiet street, five minute stroll into Platanias for dinner at any number of tavernas and just off the main roads for easy access to the inner island and coast. I am confident that no one will be disappointed with this selection. As for the couple of less than stellar reviews you might check (i always do) there are screens on the balcony door, the room is made up everyday and you can get an extra pillow if you need one.  :-)
