Pros: Nice view from the balcony, short walking distance to the beach, beds were ok. Cons: Smell from the drain in the kitchen, rusty hot plates, shower basin peeling off, broken mosquito net. Would not recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Basic accomodation in Askeli

like stepping back in time, but in a good way. a very warm welcome from Nikos , and all were friendly and very helpful, especially when  i locked myself out after 11pm!
nothing was too much trouble, and the relaxed attitude helped me to relax.
 As a solo traveller, I felt safe in this area  and on this island and in Greece altogether. maybe its my age :)
Anyway, ideal for those who love seaswimming and natural habitats. it really is too lovely to share with too many people.

Really delightful surprise , a home from home

We  had booked a 3 night stay. When  we arrived, the accommodation was not as it appeared  on the website.  The rooms and balcony were filthy. When we told the owner, he said that we paid for basic and if we were not happy, we could leave. He became very hostile and told us to go and find somewhere else.  We could not then stay. We had booked to take our elderly parents away for a few days.  We then had to look for other accommodation at a time when Poros was very busy. This was extremely stressful.

Could not stay

The location is very good and very close to the beach. The owner is very friendly and approachable. Dahlia is very friendly helpful and very hard working person. She is always there to help you with a smile 😉. We are coming here for 3 years now and we are very happy and feel at home. This is our second home and thanks again to Dahlia and to Nick the great. Thanks

Nikos is the man!

After a punctual showing of our room, Nikos from the start offered us such a friendly, warm welcome.

Facilities such a kitchenette, two electric rings, fridge, washing up liquid provided, all mod con accessories including a corkscrew! Only thing missing was a kettle.

Balcony with washing lines and pegs, table with chairs. Plenty of room and space. Many power points. Very able bathroom with shower and piping hot water.

We stayed in twin room, the beds were so comfy. Cleaners came in every day.

A little steep as property lies just up from beach. Very close to beach and tavernas. Also, a cash point close too.

Only thing is if you require a taxi straight away, might be difficult as nothing near by. Then again, a hotel best suited if you use this alot.

Nikos gave us bottled cold water on check out. A lovely, unexpected touch. If we ever return to Poros, we'll definitely look into staying again.

Very good stay. The apartment had a great view and it was always clean. The hotel was in a very convenient location just 5 min walk from the sea road. The host was very kind and always willing to help. i recommend it
