A great place to stay, and many things to do nearby!  Excellent environment  and view!!! The extra long Beach has a North to South orientation,  many watersports agencies and at the end of the day...  the sun dives into the Ionian sea!!!

The hotel was excellent!! Very clean and tidy. The location was very good with a magnificent view combining the sea and the pool together. We were amazed..The owner was cooking delicious home made breakfast on a daily basis!! The hosts were very friendly and always there for anything we needed! I would definitely recommend this hotel to families couples or friends for a relaxing stay.

Excellent hospitality

The staff is very friendly, rooms nice and the sea view just amazing. They have their own swimming pool and it's around 10 minutes on foot (stairs)to the sea. For older people it may be not easy to climb back to the hotel because of these stairs. The breakfast was for free. There was nothing special but we also didn't leave our table hungry.  The walls in the rooms are a bit too thin but that's the way most of the hotels are built nowadays.  all in all we had a really nice stay in this hotel. 

Great view 

Although it is clean, the staff is friendly, the rooms have perfect sea view and breakfast has variety, the hotel lacks some serious details !!
We believe that eg music shouldn't be so loud all day long , they should demand quite from their customers around the pool especially at noon, or they should carry suitcases and bags to the room.
Maybe they're new to the business but these are serious details for a decent hotel.
 Finally the distance to the sea or to the tavernas is far more than 50 meters and you have to climb about 100 stairs or a long uphill road in order to return to the hotel. Considering the summer heat, you must be in a very good shape!!

A NIGHTMARE ! Bad hotel with rooms in full sun and minimal facilities. NOT SUITABLE FOR ITALIANS ..... GOOD TOURISTS LIVED IN LOW QUALITY STANDARDS, CERTAINLY ITALIANS AND OTHER EUROPEANS.
Price outside the market, (1st week of September very high prices compared to the other neighboring hotels: 74 euros per night a double single use without breakfast).To get to the hotel the road is DANGEROUS.
The description on Booking with many inaccuracies,in the hotel they do not speak ITALIAN. Including the 103 steps of stairs to reach the sea omitted from the description of the structure, the impervious road between the narrow and steeply sloping buildings to arrive with the car in the hotel.
I do not recommend it to those who have minimal mobility problems and to elderly or small children due to the rough road to go down to the sea.
Television without satellite foreign channels while in the hotel description description they were insured.
Several times there was no hot water in the shower either in the morning, 10 o'clock, or in the evening, 21.00. Disappointed after 3 days I turned to booking signaling the inefficiencies with the intention to leave the hotel not to ruin the vacation further and despite the ownership has accepted the solution with booking at the time of the check out I was requested a larger amount and with arrogance they didn't want to let me pay and leave, I had to shout "now I call the tourist police!"

Breakfast disastrous, the same every day, poor quality ham, cheese, eggs (from which we are intoxicated), fruits and vegetables were missing (they were one day and then less and pass)! The person in charge of the hotel knows than German, unable to get along ... I called room with double bed and got two ...... one person glued poorly equipped room, no safe. In conclusion, if you want to stay you have missed, you'd better go around Hotel Azalena!
