We stayed in Diamond River hotel from 3 to 6 August 2021 and it was one of the most luxurious and peaceful places I have ever stayed in! Situated on the outskirts of Kastoria, near the river, the hotel offers incomparable luxury that is seamlessly interwoven to the aristocratic flair of the city of Kastoria itself.The room was spotlessly clean, decorated with exquisite taste and the bathroom covered in stone tiles that created a feeling of calmness and relaxation with fresh towels changed every morning! The owners were very kind, discreet and willing to offer information about the city and the sights of the area. The city of Kastoria is only 5 minutes away by car and it is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Greece all around the year!  Diamond River is wrongly classified as a four star hotel, it far exceeds a five star hotel in all respects! Well done!

A true gem in Kastoria!

If you want to enjoy your trip do not hesitate to take this hotel.
The room, the bathroom, the stuff, the food, all of them are more than excellent.
This hotel is managed by a family which will do everything to let you feel like king.
Go there and let yourself enjoying.

Highly recomended

We spent two nights in Diamond River and Spa. The hotel is a 3 mins drive from Kastoria city center. Though it may not be a walking distance to the main road, it is ideally located in a very quiet neighbourhood and you wouldn't worry about parking your car as it has a big parking space.

We had a fantastic weekend, enjoyed the scenery and quality of sleep. The breakfast is served daily until 10.30, you can't miss it! It has local delicacies, homemade pies and cakes, as well as fresh eggs, coffee, yoghurt and fruits!

Having travelled around the world I would like to point out how clean this hotel is and how friendly the owners are. It is now officially in my top 3!

Give your self a treat and spend some days at Diamond River Resort and Spa is the place to go in order to eat great breakfast and relax.

A value for money hidden gem!

Can't praise this hotel enough. The family run hotel is spotless clean. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.  The breakfast buffet is amazing. Homemade bread jams and cakes pies. Too much to choose from. Delicious :) We can highly recommend this hotel and breakfast and looking forward coming back :) thank you lovely people ❤

We spent only one night, but it was enough to blow our minds! Beautiful, cosi, incredibly clean and perfectly decorated, only three minutes drive from Kastoria and all these only for 50 euros. Did I mention the tasty breakfast with all the kinds of handmade goodies and the friendly owners? Best value for money hotel, we 've ever been!!!! Highly recommended...

The best value for money (by far)!!!

This is a 4 star hotel not a resort.  Located on edge of city in a quiet location. Need car to get to shops and lake, too far to walk. Well presented, clean and tidy, comfortable beds, good breakfast. Good WIFI.  Free off street parking in front of building. Find time to visit the fresh food market locally called "laiki agora"  open 7am to 2 pm on a week day, next to Kastoria lake. Use curtains to block light from security light on balcony.
