Alex was a blessing to my friend and I. We had been driving and touring through Crete and were tired and had pulled up outside one of his other properties in the car park. A neighbour contacted Alex and within seconds he was on hand to assist us. We have travelled from the UK without pre-booking so we could stay where ever we thought was a nice area. Alex offered us a two bedroom place to stay in his main building which had a patio area with gorgeous outlook and where it was possible to hang clothes to dry if needed. Lovely shower room and had hairdryer, ac and wifi and a fridge in one of the bedroom's which was welcomed as after an evening out some cold water was required. Alex was FULL of useful tips and his restaurant recommendation was very good. We stayed here for two nights. We travelled to Ellafonissi Beach and many other places whilst staying here. We went to several bars which were lively and a local greek nightclub that had just opened whilst we were staying there The only point to bear in mind is that this property has alot of stairs without a banister or handrail or a lift so this would be the only area for improvement. This place is not for those who have difficulty with climbing stairs. The walls are thin but this did not affect us, we tried to reenter the property after evenings out as quietly as possible. Parking was a great plus. Location was fantastic as it was walking distance of the harbour, bars, main strip and restaurants. There was a lovely local sandwich place across the bottom of the road who did some amazing quick food. I would highly recommend this place and Alex as he was a true gentleman.
