Yannis

Amazing location, very clean rooms and friendly staff. It is great value for money and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bus runs every 20 minutes or so from the port to the beach and stops right outside yannis rooms. The beaches are about 10 minute walk away and amazing and offer a great night life. The town is also a 5 minute walk away. defiantly recommended for young travellers!

Great stay!

Let's start with the pros in my opinion. The location of this place was the one thing that we enjoyed. It is on a hill and only about at 15 minute walk down to the beach. And it is about a 10 minute into the town where the night life is. So we didn't need to use the bus to go to the beach or into town. 

Now for the downside, the wifi is practically non-existent. The rooms are a bit run down and beds were uncomfortable. Shower was very small and it was impossible to shower without practically flooding the bathroom. 

AC was nice to have and it definitely worked but wasn't very strong. 

Run down and poor wifi

Most disgusting meal we have ever eaten. Burnt and covered in grease. Services was equally as discussing. We should have known to move on when he wiped the table with a dirty rag. The smell from the table was gut wrenching. Avoid him and his disgusting hospitality.

Horrible breakfast

First thing I will say is that my fionce, some friends and myself booked Yannis rooms in December and after 2 months we just got an email saying that rooms are more expencive and the wrong prices were put on hostelworld. Hostelworld was blaming Yannis rooms and Yannis rooms was blaming hostelworld, so basicly we just had to pay more than we agreed in the first place. Of course, by the time we got the email, everything else with reasonable price was booked out.
When we went there, rooms looked ok, cute and with a great view. However, Our happines with it didn't last for long. On the first night we came back from the city and realised there is no hot water. Next evening it happened again so my friend went to ask the owners (married couple) what is wrong and the lady went and turned heater on. It turned out that they are using only the solar one so they would save money. Next night-no hot water again! I went the morning after to ask what is happening and the lady basicly blamed girls in the room next to ours. She said she thinks they are washing their clothes and they used 500 litars tenk of hot water. I said I don't think that is the case and after that she just changed her attitude towards me and my friends, being just rude.
Day after, around 10 in the morning the lady nocked on our door and woke us up saying we have 45 minutes to change our room. It wasn't our mistake, her husbant gave put us there, but, she didn't say she is sorry for that or for waking us up.
One night she was yelling to some guys cause their aircon was on and they were sitting on the balcony with their door opened.
So, we overpaid the place so we can shower with cold water, being yelled at  and be moved from our room without even saying "I'm sorry." Not what I imagined.

Don't go there!

The location is good, but owners refused to run the hot water booster at night so there is no hot water after 9 o'clock, got sick of going down to ask them to turn it on and waiting 45 minutes for the water to heat up, ended up having more cold showers than hot, after we checked out we asked if we could keep our bags there and use the shared bathroom to shower before our ferry leaves later on, "not possible"
